Instructions for the Suzuki Samurai
5/5

If you're looking to replace the hubs on your Samurai, keep in mind that they're not an exact match. When removing your old Asia hubs, there is a "C" clip on the end of the axle spline that must be removed in order to remove the hubs; don't worry if you lose it because you won't need it to install the Warn hubs because the Warn hubs will cover the "C" clip groove, making it impossible to install the clip. When I was installing my Warn hubs, this bothered me, and I assumed Amazon had sent me the incorrect part number. However, after consulting the Warn website, I was able to confirm that the part number was correct. So I dialed Low Range and inquired about the situation with one of their operators. They told me that's how it is, and that I shouldn't be concerned because the hubs work fine without the "C" clip. Low Range even has an installation guide for the Warn hubs on their website, stating that the "C" clip does not need to be replaced.

Installed on a 4WD Chevy Tracker from 1999
5/5

I have a 1999 Chevy Tracker with 4WD and pneumatic 4WD engagement already installed. It's similar to the Toyota way of doing things: When you choose 4WD in the transfer case, an air system engages a clutch-type gear in the front end, putting you in 4WD. This is convenient, but it also means that some items spin constantly, potentially increasing wear. As a result, some of us opt to use manual hubs. Another significant benefit is that it allows you to use low range in 2WD, which is useful for long descents on paved roads (using 4WD, especially in low range, on pavement is not recommended). br>br>These were very simple to install. It can be done by anyone who knows how to change a tire and has a torque wrench. Furthermore, Warn's technical support was extremely helpful. I reached out to others, who told me I wouldn't be able to do it. When it comes to some things, you get what you pay for.

The Suzuki Vitara's Warn Hubs are fantastic! These hubs were installed in minutes and have performed admirably thus far
5/5

The only disadvantage I can think of is that they turn in and out smoothly and release the axels without difficulty. Because of their small size, the stampings "4x4" and "4x2" on the hub are difficult to read. It has a simple and elegant appearance. Because I needed the 4X4 in the Utah snow, I haven't "officially" checked my gas mileage yet, but it appears that I am getting better gas mileage and that the car "seems" to travel a little "free'r" on the road. "4X2" position is now locked. br>br>At the time I bought these, there were two other brands of hubs on the market that were very similar to, or slightly more expensive, but I chose the WARN brand because I had them installed on my 95 Ford F250 many years ago and had no problems with them. br>br>Amazon is a good place to buy them. com was simple to use, and I received my hubs in three days using their standard "free shipping" option. br>br>I hope this information aids you in your decision-making process. It's cool and it's dependable! These locking hubs excel in terms of dependability and aesthetics
5/5

Despite the fact that my original equipment hubs are still in good working order, these are an upgrade for my rebuild project, and I now have back-up. In the wings, there are a lot of ups.

This is a fantastic hub improvement
5/5

Fit a Suzuki Grand Vitara from 2004 perfectly. Much better than the ones made by the factory or others available on the market. They were simple to engage and disengage, as well as to install.

a prestigious name, a gem the quality of the work I'm not sure what to say
5/5

Exceptional quality, a stellar reputation, and a dazzling array of options the quality of the work When my father and I purchased our first IH Scout in 1962 in the early 1960s, he insisted on Warn hubs. It was simple to install and should last a very long time. The original hubs on my GEO Tracker seemed to have a very limited range of engagement/disengagement, resulting in a ratcheting buzz that demanded attention all the time. As a result, the hubs were kept occupied full-time, defeating their purpose. I'm looking forward to winter and don't expect any disappointments from this tried-and-true product. No offense to Warn, but they did arrive late, which seems ironic given that they're made not far from my house. Despite the unnecessarily long wait, it was well worth it.

I would purchase this item again
5/5

Premium grade is far superior to middle of the road. The 95 tracker/sidekick is a perfect fit. For a small 4x4, this might be a bit much. Nope. Don't be stingy with your money. These hubs are extremely reliable in terms of locking and unlocking.
