Is this possible if your trailer has electric brakes and other features?
I'm not certain, but I believe you'll need the five-wire plug; this one only has four wires.
My vehicle is equipped with a four-flat plug, while my trailer is equipped with a seven-blade plug. Does it make a difference? Basic brake lights are all I'm looking for. It's a tiny trailer, to be sure. ?
As long as your trailer doesn't have electric brakes, you should be fine. If it does, I believe you'll need the five flat wired plug.
