When using a deck stain, remove the inline filter.
Water is 8 times heavier than air. 3 pound per gallon, for a total of 16. 2 gallons: 6 pounds; 24 gallons: 24 pounds For 3 gallons, you'll need 9 pounds.
The bottle was pumped to the maximum capacity and the nozzle was adjusted for a tight stream at a distance of about 16 feet in the absence of wind. I use mine to spray a weak bleach solution on my house to get rid of mold (I live near the coast, so mold is a constant problem), and I try to spray as high up the walls as I can. You're shooting such a narrow stream to get to 16 feet that any significant amount of wall is covered in a long time. On the ground - You can widen the spray a little to get better coverage on the floor walls. I use an old stainless steel water fire extinguisher that I pressurize with my compressor for the second-story walls. It works great, but it floats in the water. bleach- The garden sprayer is much more precise and economical in its application of the bleach mixture than the soap mixture, which is akin to putting a house on fire. I've heard that these sprayers can also be used in gardening, but I don't have any personal experience with this.
In your order, you'll find a booklet that explains which tip to use for different applications. If you don't have the booklet, I'd start by trying each tip with water in the sprayer to see which one gives you the spraying radius you want. All of these methods will work with pesticides; it all depends on how much coverage you require, i.e. a spray that is either narrow, medium, or wide.

If you replace the pump seal, it will be even BETTER. As seen in the illustration. I've tried a lot of sprayers and this is by far the best. br>br>Word to the wise: if you use vinegar and dish soap instead of the expensive store-bought weed killer, don't submerge the pump in it for long periods of time; I did, and the bottom seal of the pump mechanism shrivelled up and lost its ability to seal. br>br>I purchased the "Roundup Universal Lawn and Garden Sprayer Repair Kit with O-Ring" from Roundup. To repair it, go to Amazon and buy "Rings, Seals, and Gaskets" for $4. The pump actually worked better after I installed the Roundup seal than it did when it was brand new. The 3 gallon tank was about 90% empty (meaning there was a lot of room for air), and all it took was about 2010 pumps to fill it with air! I had to pump it 20 times even when it was brand new. To fill it with air, repeat the process 30 times. br>br>For the price, it's hard to beat! Prior to this, I owned three other tanks, one of which was an expensive backpack model, and none of them lasted more than one season of 1-on-1 combat. Use for two months. After three months, even the $150 backpack tank had failed. It was thrown away due to the lack of a rebuild kit.
Sprayer has now proven to be a successful venture. REVIEW OF THE FIRST EDITION - THIS REVIEW SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FIVE-STAR REVIEW. br>UPDATE: THIS REVIEW SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FIVE-STAR REVIEW. My sprayer, unfortunately, had a major malfunction. br>I thought I'd found "the one" after experimenting with various sprayers. A discrete overpressure relief valve and chemical-resistant seals were two features I specifically desired. You got them, which is great. What I didn't expect was what I didn't get. Right out of the box, I didn't get a sprayer that pumped up well, if at all. br>Once you've reached out to e-mail, After receiving no response from the manufacturer, I decided to look into it further. I discovered a large o-shaped o-shaped o-shaped o-shaped The ring that surrounds the pump piston is too small to provide a good seal during pumping. This could be due to (a) the groove in which the o-ring is inserted. (a) the o-ring is too deep in the ring, or (b) the o-ring is too deep in the ring. The thickness of the ring used was insufficient. I had to put an expander behind the o-ring in order for it to pump. to expand the diameter of the ring Another Viton o-ring was used for a few turns. As an expander, use a ring. So it now works, but only with the help of a workaround. without any assistance from the manufacturer. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. Following the publication of the above review, I was contacted by the manufacturer, who promptly sent me a replacement pump assembly. My original pump may have come with the wrong size o-ring, according to the manufacturer. ring. To be fair, I believe the issue I had was unusual, and it should not detract from an otherwise excellent sprayer. I believe it is now appropriate to award 5 stars.
I don't cut corners when it comes to my sprayer because I use it frequently. My previous one was $40 and lasted seven years, but it never performed as well as this one. There was only one nozzle on the old one, and there was no inline filter to keep the dirt out. This sprayer features five nozzles as well as a large filter (white filter on left of photo) that can be easily removed for cleaning. The handle is large and has a lot of leverage, so your hand won't tire out. Only two of the nozzles have been used so far. The yellow spray is a narrow spray that is useful for covering a small area. With a gallon of spray, I can kill all the weeds in my yard. Long-range streams require the black plastic conic-shaped one. It enables me to apply a mold treatment to the top ridge of my roof while standing on a ladder that just reaches my gutters. I'm 70 years old and have no desire to climb to the top of the building.
It does not live up to its billing. I've bought it twice, returned it, and had it replaced with no luck. The price is right on the money, but the product does not live up to its advertising. I needed a sprayer to apply a water/bleach solution to my sidewalks in order to bleach them and kill mold. This isn't a particularly thick mixture. BUT, here are some of the issues I ran into: br>Initially, a sprayer is used. Pressure could not be maintained. The side valve dripped and dripped and dripped and dripped and dripped and d The more air you pumped, the more this valve blew out. Returning the product for a new one. br>Second sprayer - Pressure could not be maintained. As I pump, the pressure is being released by the pump handle. The air is literally escaping from the pump's top! I can't even get the solution out of the nozzle, which is very counterproductive! It was a huge letdown. I'm returning the item for a refund.
I'm from the northeastern United States of America. I only spray for weeds twice a year at most because I have a lawn service that sprays. Since I bought it in April 2018, I've used it three times. For the first time this year, I went outside to spray around my home's foundation. It dripped weed killer solution from beneath the collar, which connects the top to the container. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until my feet and clothes were soaked in weed killer that this was happening while I was spraying. So please, do yourself a favor and DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE. I don't remember how much I paid, but you should factor in at least another $150 for a new pair of work shoes and work pants, not to mention my chemical exposure. THIS IS ACTUALLY A PIECE OF GARBAGE. Don't let the word "Contractor" fool you. IT DOESN'T STAND UP TO THE TEST OF TIME. DONT BUY.
I was browsing Amazon's sprayer selection when I realized I had forgotten to write a review for this useless product. Pump, pump, pump until your heart's content, but this thing will not hold a seal to create any pressure. This has never happened before. 'Right out of the box' is the best way to describe it. I was convinced I was making a mistake. So I just put it on the shelf and forgot about it until now. I gave it another shot today and spent an hour trying to get it to hold air. It seeps into the handle area. During my inspection, I also discovered that the seal around the pumping arm is too loose, leaving no way to generate any pressure. I'm throwing it away because it's been far too long since I bought it.
I've tried every single one of them. I've bought sprayers for $200 and $20, and they're all a waste of money. This is a fantastic sprayer. There are no liquid or air leaks in this product. Seals made of Viton are fantastic. Pump for approximately 9 minutes. 10 times and it will spray for a long time; it has a nice fan spray and a nice spray for fine weed spraying. As a landscaper, I can tell you that you should buy this sprayer without even thinking about it. They've been in my possession for quite some time. They last about three years for me as a contractor, and I use them a lot. Extra o-rings are included. If you need the large one for the pump, just call them and they'll send one out right away. Any other sprayer will be a waste of money.
