At this time, none of our sprayers come with just the tank. A Smith Contractor 190216 2-, on the other hand, could be purchased. Use the Pump Zero head instead of the manual pump head on the Gallon Sprayer unit. If you have any additional questions, please contact our Customer Service department at 800-444-4444. 311- 9903
Unfortunately, 20 PSI is insufficient for a 25-foot hit. We recommend using a Field King 190328 backpack sprayer with a 150 PSI output and a straight stream from the poly adjustable nozzle that can reach up to 30 feet.
In my own sprayer, I would not use chlorine. Many people have had their pressure washers damaged by chlorine.br>Chlorine damages the rubber in hoses and fittings.
Watering a plant is a good idea. If patio furniture is dirty, there won't be enough pressure to blow it away.
Selected User Reviews For Field King 190571 Lithium-Ion Battery Powered Pump Zero Technology Sprayer, 2-Gal, White
For the past two years, I've been using a Field King Professional 190328 backpack sprayer, and while I enjoyed it, this sprayer is far superior. It does, however, have one flaw, which I discuss at the end, but that flaw did not warrant a change in star rating. This is by far the best sprayer I've ever used, and I've tried five different sprayers over the years, including some that were battery-powered. This one is similar to the backpack sprayer in terms of price, but it is faster and easier to use. br>br>A high-quality lithium-ion battery is what sets this sprayer apart. a lithium-ion battery with a 12-hour capacity ups, though I only verified 9 because it was more than enough to weed my front and back yards. Between the first and ninth runs, I noticed no difference in air pump speed. The sprayer wand is excellent, and it comes with four nozzles to handle almost any job. The pressure release valve also makes it simple to remove the top and refill the container with more solution to continue working. Re-filling is a breeze with a high-quality, powerful pump. Quickly pressurize. I'd gripe about the fact that it only holds 2 gallons, but the process of refilling and re-filling is a breeze. I prefer having something lighter to carry around because pressurizing is so quick and easy. With the exception of one point, which is discussed further down, this is the ideal sprayer in every way. br>br>The charging system is the only flaw in the design. It's just a fixed voltage charger that'll harm your lithium-ion battery. If left on for an extended period of time, the lithium-ion battery will deplete. The manual specifies that the charger must be disconnected as soon as the green light remains steady, and that it should not be left connected after the charging process is complete. However, this is inconvenient because it means you can't leave the pump charging overnight without risking the battery being damaged. A charger that turned off once the charge was complete would have cost a few dollars more. Regardless of the unfortunate design flaw, I give this five stars. There isn't a better sprayer for home use that I am aware of. Although my larger backpack sprayer has served me well, I will no longer use it. This one is a lot easier to use, and the job gets done even faster because the refilling and re-filling is done automatically. The pressurizing procedure is extremely quick and simple.
I really wanted to like this product because it has such a great concept—automatic pumping powered by a built-in (rechargeable) battery. Simply fill with water, spray until the container is empty, and then repeat. Pumping with your hands is not allowed! The wand, however, lost its spray strength and range after about 45 minutes of continuous use (multiple gallons of herbicide and refills). Ugh. There were no signs that the battery needed to be recharged when I checked it. I cleaned the wand's hose to see if any buildup had formed, and I experimented with different nozzles, but the spray strength and range remained inadequate. As I was attempting to use this product to spray the entire yard for the money, this was a complete deal breaker for me; either I received a lemon or this product simply does not hold up under use. Be careful who you buy from.
I use it to spray antifungal solution on my roses and heucheras, and then I use it to apply fertilizer as a foliar spray on another day during the week. I used to apply my antifungal with a handheld spray bottle, which took over two hours to complete; now, with a full charge, this sprayer completes the task in under twenty minutes! I know I should be comparing this to a manual pump sprayer, but I can't stop thinking about how much less messy it is and how much time it saves me. br>br>My foliar fertilizer is the same way. I used to make fertilizer in 5-gallon buckets and then water it in. I have a lot of plants to water and feed, and it would take me over three hours to do it manually; with this battery-powered sprayer, I can do it in about thirty minutes with a lot less effort! I really like how much time this sprayer saves me. I'm hoping it will serve me well for many years to come. If anything changes, I'll keep you informed. br>br>For the time being, I would HIGHLY recommend this sprayer to anyone looking to save time. br>br>UPDATE: Summer is coming to an end on September 14th, and my sprayer has performed admirably throughout the season. I believe I only needed to charge it three times in total. I used it about twice a week for the most part before returning to the old fashioned method of watering my fertilizer into the ground. As a result, towards the end of the summer, this was primarily used for anti-bacterial applications. To my rosebushes and heucheras, I applied a fungus solution mixed with water.
Then he put it to use, and he really likes it! I needed to use a gravel stabilizer to seal a 300-square-foot peagravel fire pit. I understand that stopping to pump frequently is inconvenient and results in inconsistent spray volume as the pressure weakens. I came across this, read the reviews, and decided to go ahead and purchase it. However, when we started spraying and my husband saw that I had brought such a nice sprayer, he became enraged. He claimed that the adhesive we were using would clog the sprayer and that he would prefer to use a disposable one instead. He claimed that pumping was no big deal and that he would do it, but he grumbled that this was three times the price of one. We emptied and hosed it out, filled it with water and sprayed to clear the hose and nozzle, and recharged the handle twenty minutes later. br>We emptied and hosed it out, filled it with water and sprayed to clear the hose and nozzle, and recharged the handle. My husband then requested the link so that he could order two for use at work. br>Sometimes it's just worth it to spend a little more, and this sprayer is one of them.
As a result of Amazon Prime shipping, I received this in a timely manner. I charged the battery and made a batch of Roundup before heading out to kill some weeds. An on/off switch with a green LED to show whether it is on or off is located on the top of the carry handle, which I found to be extremely useful. When you turn it on, it activates a small compressor inside the carry handle, which will kick in when the pressure drops while you're spraying. I sprayed the weeds with the yellow low flow tip, which had enough pressure and flow to get a good amount of product on them. I mixed a batch that was 3/4 full in the spayer and sprayed it sporadically for about 10 minutes, and it used it all up. I'm pleased with the outcome and the purchase I made.
