Hello, we do not recommend using the 20000 Garden Sprayer with Vinegar because it will quickly deteriorate the seals. We do have sprayers designed for vinegar, such as the model G2005P 2 Gallon Backpack Sprayer and the model 61505 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer. ONLY, instead of the stainless steel and brass used by the professionals, it's made of a very tough, heavy-duty plastic! However, it is also a tenth of the price of the metal "PRO" tank, so you can't go wrong if you're buying chemical on Amazon or elsewhere! I own a three-family brownstone/row house that I rent out. Unless the 'critters' (cockroaches, silverfish, etc. ) are kept in check (no matter how clean your house/apartment is kept), they will come out, especially during the spring and summer. I use this device in conjunction with a gallon or larger size bug chemical that I find to be very effective and low in human toxicity. We don't want any problems to arise now that we have a new grandson, so I did a great deal of research on this! br>I highly recommend this sprayer/pump tank, especially given its low purchase price of under $20, tax included, and FREE "Prime" shipping! br>Hey everyone, I spend a lot of time, energy, and money on the things I buy and use on Amazon, so if you think this review was helpful,. You're the one who knows what to do! Thank you very much, fellow shoppers!.
I recently purchased this sprayer (Chapin 20541) on Amazon because I've always found Chapin sprayers to be good value for money (I own several). I noticed the tank adapter fitting was damaged when I got this one. The sprayer was still functional, and because I needed it right away, I put it to use rather than returning it to Amazon. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could get a replacement fitting, and they responded quickly with an apology and a replacement fitting is on its way free of charge via USPS. kudos to Chapin and their customer service. br>I give this 5 stars and would strongly recommend it to others because it is inexpensive, effective, and has excellent customer service.
It is not adaptable, and I have just removed a very negative review. I've been looking at sprayers because I'm new to the world of sprayers, and I've found Chapin to be a great company. When you call the company, you will not be stuck trying to communicate with a computerized voice; instead, you will be able to speak with a real person! Now, let's talk about the sprayer. With the help of my neighbor, I was finally able to get it to work. I couldn't use it for my homemade weed killer, so I did some research and ordered two more gallon sprayers that can handle homemade mixtures and more. Another Chapin, this time from a different brand, that I'll use for non-essential items. solutions that are acidic The small red flip nozzle appeals to me, and I'm hoping it will work with the other Chapin I ordered. I'll keep you updated as I get more experience with this sprayer and figure out what I'm going to do with it. I'm attempting to live a more environmentally conscious lifestyle. so.
SO. Until a few weeks ago, I didn't have a lot of bug problems. I've had big cockroaches here and there over the years, but they've never been a major issue for me.
WELL. My neighbor had moved out and left some things on the side of the road, so I grabbed a couple of pieces (thinking to myself, "This is so nice, why is it on the side of the road?"). I let it sit for about 30 minutes before beginning to clean all of the pieces. HOLY CRAP, I thought as I opened one of the drawers. In just ONE piece, I discovered about 5 german roaches. br>To cut a long story short, I discovered three of them scattered on my floor as I was frantically attempting to get that crap out of my house. Those boogers, on the other hand, are QUICK and can get into just about anything. br>I called a pest control company, and they said it would cost around $215 up front, then $124 every three months. I know they're valuable, but I figured there had to be a way for me to do it. br>I did my research on Amazon, Google, and other websites, and this is the product that convinced me to buy it. br>For around $55, I purchased DemonWP, Martin's IGR, and this incredible Chapin Sprayer. I read that you don't just want to use an insecticide; you also want to use a hormone regulator to keep the bugs from getting older, reproducing, and so on. br>So I mixed this DemonWP with the IGR in my sprayer and went to town. I went to my back porch because that's where the majority of the activity was, in all the cracks and crevices, where pipes meet the wall, cabinets, and so on. br>Within an hour, I'd seen bugs I didn't even realize lived with me. It was the most terrifying thing I've ever witnessed. I came across some banded roaches that had died. I made a point of getting the entire kitchen as well as all of the bathrooms. br>I'll repeat this process every three months (even in the fall and winter), alternating insecticides and IGRs because they can become immune (an unsettling thought). br>However, I've only been here for 24 hours. This stuff claims to cover you for up to 12 weeks, so I'll let you know how it worked out for me, but I'm optimistic. br>I appreciate this company's straightforward, yet exhaustive instructions. br>Because I am terrified of all insects on an emotional and physical level, I am grateful that you sell this product! :.
You get what you pay for, I suppose. I purchased it because I was fed up with the built-in roundup sprayers failing miserably. So I poured my roundup into the container, and everything was fine for about 5 minutes. Out of nowhere, it stopped spraying. It was perfectly pressurized, so I unscrewed and re-screwed it. I tried everything but it didn't work. It gave the indication that the line was clogged after reading the troubleshooting instructions. I'm not going to be able to stop every 5 minutes and soak everything in soapy water. The product is a failure.
It worked perfectly the first time! I took it out of the box today to use it again, but it didn't work! It doesn't build up enough pressure to start spraying. Several of us adults attempted, but failed, to tighten the threads on the main cap and the spray nozzle area.
