Some people, according to what I've read, simply splice the cable with just enough wire to get it to work. That seems to be the case. My battery, which is located just behind the steering wheel, is easily reached by mine. A splice of the same gauge wire, I believe, will suffice.
It is broken up into pieces. It was simple to follow the instructions. It was not difficult for me to put it together. It appeals to me.
There is no agitator or mixer in this recipe. I have no trouble mixing any of the numerous chemicals I've used in this spray. date. Normally, the chemical is added first, followed by the water. Without having to do anything else, the splashing of the hose in the tank and the bumping around while pulling it has thoroughly mixed my chemicals. My lawn has never appeared to be in such good condition! This is an excellent small sprayer.

After about 8 months of using this sprayer, I had a problem with the wand. I looked after it very well and only used it three times. When I called to inquire about a replacement wand, I was informed that it was not covered by warranty and that "parts like that" only have a 90-day warranty. After some grumbling, they agreed to send me a wand, but the motor failed soon after. I called again and politely explained that it was under warranty and that I had tried everything but the unit was not putting any pressure on me. They requested that I try a few things, such as cleaning the tubes, and so on. - Nothing is out of the ordinary. That was done, but I had to call them back because it didn't work. I was given an awkward lecture about how they didn't really need to replace the motor, but I reluctantly agreed. The motor arrived, and I put it in place. It had an effect. The pressure could not be adjusted for about 2 minutes before a different problem occurred. So I called again, and this time I was told that the problem must be somewhere else in the hardware, but that it would not be covered under warranty. "Manufacturer's Warranty 24 months consumer" is now clearly stated on their website product page. There is no mention of some parts being covered for only 90 days. I'm not even bothered by the fact that it had so many flaws - I see all of the positive feedback on here and assume I just got a bad one. But I despise businesses that make it difficult to get help or replacement parts for products that are clearly advertised as having a two-year warranty.
5 APRIL 2016 UPDATE: We've towed this sprayer behind a Sears riding mower a few times now. We can't believe it took us so long to get our hands on one of these! It performs admirably and is extremely simple to use. We've sprayed insecticides all over the place. On a 5-acre lawn, use both a general weed killer and a lawn weed killer. property with an acreage Take a close look at the measuring device we're using; it also serves our purposes admirably. First impressions: br>br> The sprayer is fantastic. What I don't like about it is that it came without 15 keys, assembly bolts, and 5 special lock nuts, as well as a broken spray wand. The box appeared to have traveled around the world a couple of times, was poorly packed, and was taped shut in an unusually messy manner. I'm guessing I got a unit that had been sent back to the factory by mistake. The people at Northstar were pleasant, but the guys who handle overflow and/or after-hours calls put me on hold for 45 minutes before telling me I needed to call back in the morning and speak with Northstar directly. I went to the hardware store and purchased bolts and nuts so that I could use the sprayer on my pasture in between rainstorms. The spray booms perform admirably. I used super glue to hold the broken wand together, and it lasted long enough before blowing apart, demonstrating that once the replacement wand arrives, it will work just as well. If you buy one of these, I recommend opening the box and inventorying and inspecting all of the parts right away.
Valves that aren't so great. I was compelled to write this review in the hopes of assisting others. This is a fantastic sprayer. It's very useful and versatile, but the boom sprayers' cheap plastic ball valves are a flaw I've discovered. I had both of them break off, so I ordered more, which also broke. So I went to Amazon and ordered some brass valves, which are far more durable and easier to turn. They fit and function flawlessly, and they come in a four-pack for around $8. So while the valves aren't a deal breaker, I do suggest upgrading them. I'm hoping North Star reads this review and thinks about making a better valve from the start. I adore the sprayer yet again! I hope this information is useful.
It was the most highly rated film I had ever seen. I was a little worried when it arrived because the box was so battered that it had been taped on all sides to keep it from breaking open. Everything was there and in good working order once I opened it up. It took some time to put together, but if you read the instructions carefully, you should be fine. I use about 2 sprays. It works great on 5 acres. The nozzles were perfect when I tested it out, and they are easily adjustable. I use the wand part for watering trees and other plants. You'll need to experiment with the pressure to figure out what works best for your application.
