Saving tons of time
5/5

I had used this item five times with five full tanks of spray before I wrote this review. As soon as I first opened the box and began setting up, I realized that it was almost complete and ready to use. As you can see from picture #2, there are pieces of plastic still in the tank from when the factory drilled the holes for screws etc. So make sure to clean the tank out before using it. There is a large chunk seen on the picture, as well as many smaller pieces that had to be removed. Because I don't own either a tractor or an ATV, I fill my tank in a garden wagon that I pull manually behind me so I can My only complaint is the length of the hose and that the nozzle is not To power the pump, I have a solid state 12 Volt battery which I attach to the As long as I charge it while the tank is not in use, it works great for this purpose. One morning I sprayed three full tanks without charging the battery, and when I finished, it was still working fine. In this unit, there is a lot of spray pressure, which will extend the spray distance. The hose that is attached to the pump was leaking the first time I used it, so I tightened A screw driver is all that's needed to fix the problem. It's a good product for people with a small plot of land or an acre. This lot is situated in a city and has a 1. 25 acre size. There are 2 acres in this property. I must keep my weeds in check since we live in the city in order to avoid being subjected to weed patrols. My previous sprayer was a 2 gallon model and I used to spend a lot of time It will take me just one day to complete this. I am so glad I found this! It's a must-have for properties over 1,000 square feet. There is something about this that I find very appealing. Here's some advice My spray bottle is not always empty after spraying. For cleaning, I simply take the suction hose out and place it in a bucket of clean water, then spray it until it is clear and only water comes Then, I return the suction to the tank and don't let it run again until I know I can handle it. In my opinion, this Chapin 15 quart sprayer is worth it.

Leave your backpacks at home
4/5

It is the right thing to do. It's so much better than a 4 The backpack sprayer is smaller and less expensive, and it works great. I sprayed 24 gallons around the house and yard the first time I used it. To spray about 30 feet with a hose, wind force, and my Bulldog, I parked, drove to an area, sprayed with the hose, and used the wind to blow spray. (Be sure to pay attention to the wind and consider it when planning your spraying). "Used" is the description I got on mine I'd like to propose the following to describe "Like New" - What to expect On top of the pump, there was nothing. There was a separation between the rubber feet and A bit of disassembly of the pump module was necessary to install all four of them. As soon as I figured that all out I was able to reassemble it fairly easily. Although I did not experience the priming issue some others might have, I wish the intake rested in a sump. A small amount of chemical will likely have to be drained off because it is difficult to remove all of it. I would have really liked if there had been rubber feet on the table Rather than mount it on a rack, I mounted it in the bed of a Bulldog, and I had to come up with a clever way to prevent the unit from sliding. As well, I would prefer a spray wand that came with nozzles similar to the ones My nozzles are good, so I should be ok, but others really need to have higher-quality nozzles.

The first time I used it, it worked perfectly
3/5

It is a nice sprayer, much better than a backpack sprayer for sure, but I only used it once, cleaning it out after I was finished, and letting it dry in my The pump on the machine would not turn on after I filled it up and then went out to use it. They all had power, so I checked the fuses and connections. For one-time use, the price is a little steep.

The world is a terrible place
3/5

Junk! This is all I can say. As a former Chapin employee, I can't believe a company as reputable as Chapin would put its name on a product like this. The drain plug appeared to be cross threaded, but it turned out the thread pitch was different. There are other things, but they are not significant. Before you put Poison in the pump, you must make sure all the hose clamps are tight. You have to be careful regarding the tank in this system, as it will leak all over you and whatever you use it for. Among my family members, I share the space between my side by side. At the end of this, I just want to get rid of this junk.

Make sure you buy a better sprayer or expect you will get what you pay for when you do
3/5

This barbed fitting has a Psi rating that is too high. It is hard to call them barbs. A leak develops at the hose exit barb as a result of a poor seal created between the barb and hose. Metal clamps also aren't a good long-term relationship, because you won't be able to achieve the same tightening pressure between the inner hose and the barbed fitting on the The risk of having chemicals like 2,4-D sprayed on me would be unthinkable to me If the clamp fell and chemicals spilled everywhere, it would be impossible to spray D or Roundup without having a 15 gallon reservoir for the sprayer to fit in. In this world of barb dudes, it's all about the barbs.

It leaks everywhere, even though it's a nice sprayer
3/5

It is easy The other users have also mentioned that all fittings should be checked. Among mine, there was leaking on the output side of the pump, on the pump head itself (but I haven't determined the reason for it), and on It appeared to be a leak in the pump hose, but tightening the clamp helped fix it, at least for the moment. It might be better to make use of a flat spring clamp, perhaps. It was just a matter of tightening the drain plug really tightly, but afraid that it would strip The sprayer works fine, except for the leaks. I used it for the first time on a pontoon boat to spray dye into my small, 6 acre pond. The spray wand was held over the stern of the boat, which I used to spray In the next few weeks, I will repeat that treatment In addition to using it for the current season, you also may use it for Roundup applications around the drive. You must then fix the leaks.

A HEAVY-DUTY PUMP THAT IS MUCH EASIER TO USE
5/5

Despite being ordered ahead of time (thanks again Amazon), this item arrived early. In combination with herbicide, we use it along fences and to water your plants There are ditches on the farm we own in East Tennessee. This piece of equipment is located at the tail of our side-by-side You can find it on the right side of the page. Operating on two sides at the same time An external battery can be attached to the sides. The new herbicide sprayers do not require regular manual pumping, which was necessary for old herbicide sprayers. This is a good option if you want to mount something on it. The 15 gallons is a much better choice than having to mix up batches of 3 gallons continuously. This is a highly recommended book. If I had to buy it again, I would definitely do so!.
