Thank you very much for contacting us. Yes, PondPerfect reduces ammonia and nitrite levels in the water naturally. Organic compounds such as excess fish food, fish waste, and decomposing leaves are digested by the bacteria in PondPerfect in addition to inorganic compounds.
Thank you for your note, Robert; yes, we have 13 of the 32 oz size and 15 of the gallon size of Pond Perfect listed on our seller page; it is a fantastic product!
I believe the instructions state that using a UV light will kill the beneficial bacteria. When things start to get murky (and I'm sure my light is in good working order), I use it with a UV light, and it immediately clears the water.
Not sure. That's a lot bigger than mine, which is only about 10 feet long and four feet wide. a depth of 5 feet Every few days, I use about a quarter cup.

However, I've had a few ponds and a couple of saltwater tanks, so I've had some hands-on experience with man-made artificial environments. I don't usually write reviews, but I do read a lot of them before buying something, so I figured I'd start helping others if I could. br>br>I read several reviews that stated that using this product had disastrous results, including one that stated that "the product was cloudy. " The cloudiness is caused by the presence of live enzymes in the product, which is how it functions. Before measuring for usage, I always shake it to get a good suspension. For me, it appears to be effective. br>br>I've been using this product for a few months to help control hair algae, green/dark cloudiness in the water, and a foul swamp odor. The item performs admirably. No, the hair algae isn't completely gone, but it's a lot easier to deal with now. The water's clarity is fantastic! I can see down to the 4' depth limit. There is no longer any lingering stench of swamp. I use this product on a weekly basis for my 7,000 gallon pond. br>br>Now, based on word of mouth, reading documents, and trial and error, I've learned that any changes to artificial water environments must be gradual. As I'm sure you know, it's best to introduce new fish to your aquarium one at a time. When it comes to changing your established environment with marine life that has been present for a long time, you must do so gradually. Any sudden, drastic change will shock the entire living environment, killing the majority of creatures. Maybe it's because of my location, filtration, water turn over rate, pond size, daily system fiddling, the type and amount of fish and plants I have, the alignment of the stars, or something I did right in a previous life, but the produce works very well for me. br>br>If you have access to one, seek advice from a local specialist. Take a sample of your water and have it tested. Before you jump in and make drastic changes, read several articles, not just one, from experts who work or practice in your area or similar climate (note that "practice" is the same as "practice" in the human medical field because no one knows what's going on with God's creation). br>br>I hope you found this information useful.
My koi pond and fish have been in my family for 24 years. Because the water in my area is quite hard, using a biological treatment to clean and balance pond water is a safe option. I've been using this product for a long time.
This is a fantastic product that I use all of the time. It won't clean your ponds for you if they're already full of algae. It won't fix a messed-up pond on its own. It's a fantastic upkeep tool. If your pond is a shambles, invest in a good filter before adding this. The fish are in much better condition now.
By Local. The bottle says to discard after June 30, 2020, and I received it on the 8th of May.
BOO3ROU3WA is the ASIN code for this item. PondPerfect 30010 Multi Purpose BiologicalPond Treatment 32oz was the first time we used it. and it did exactly what the information on the bottle said it would. Because our pond is the size of a typical swimming pool, we had to use it more than once. One bottle would be sufficient for a 500-1000 gallon pond. When we followed the instructions, our water became clear and smelled exactly like it should.
Clear water, healthy plants, and HAPPY FISH abound in my aquarium! It's something I'll keep using in the future. I would suggest it.
As long as you use it on a weekly basis, this stuff is great for the outside pond.
To notice a change in water clarity, you'll need a lot of this product. I recommend that you get the bigger size.
