Is it possible to put this in my outdoor pond without having to remove my fish?

Yes. It should be added whenever you add city water to your pond that contains chlorine.

Is it possible to shock this and use it in a well?

Only ornamental fish should be kept in this tank.

Is this also applicable to a bass pond?

Yes, it was.

For a 2000 gallon tank, how much of this do I require? pond ?

It all depends on whether you're adding water to an existing pond or creating a new one. 1 teaspoon per 100 gallons or 1/4 cup per 1200 gallons should be used to remove chlorine and heavy metals. Simply double the dosage to get rid of all plus chloramines. br>To remove chlorine and metals from a 2000 gallon pond, use roughly half of the bottle (6 to 8 ounces). In addition, 12 to 16 ounces should be used to remove chloramines. One bottle typically lasts me a year or longer after initial setup.

This is one of my Koi's favorite foods
5/5

When I first started my pond, I noticed that whenever I added water or changed the water, my fish would swim on top of the water and appear uncomfortable. It was only later that I realized it was most likely caused by chlorine and other contaminants in the water. It made sense to treat my pond the same way I treat my aquariums, as suggested by a friend. As a result, I experimented with API Pond Chlorine. I used a cap full of Heavy Metal Neutralizer the next time I added water, and there was no problem this time; I've been using it every time I add water or change the water in my pond for years. Two of my Koi have reached the age of 22.

It's quite effective
5/5

it appears to be secure It does exactly what it says. I haven't lost any fish because of water problems during setup or after adding water to my tanks. The tap water in Miami contains chloride, which kills fish. I once let a 100 gallon outdoor tank sit for a week, assuming that the chlorine would dissipate, and all six small koi I had put in it died within a day. The fish do not appear to be stressed by this product. br>br>Once, I put way too much of it in a tank by accident. Four or five times the recommended dose, to be exact. I thought I was adding "PH Down," but I grabbed the wrong bottle. (The water in Miami is extremely alkaline. ) There were no side effects to speak of.

Much Better Than Other Pond/Aquarium Neutralizers At Neutralizing Chlorine First and foremost, This item is difficult to come by in a pet store
5/5

It's made for ponds, so it'll last a long time. For a 100 gallon fish tank, only a small amount is required. First and foremost- The cost: At a pond store, this item can cost up to $19. Lastly- This product also removes chlorine, heavy metals, and ammonia from the environment. I bought another water conditioner from a different company when my pet store ran out of this product (they only stock it seasonally). My fish were burned after a water change by that aquarium water conditioner. Only after carefully reading the other product's label did I notice that "treats chlorine and tap water" had been expanded to "assists in the treatment of," which means. It didn't completely neutralize the chlorine, and I almost lost my fish as a result. As a result, I'm singing its praises and have purchased three bottles.

They've been happily cruising around ever since they used this
5/5

This is a genuine solution. I've tried almost everything to get rid of the copper that was causing my mystery snails to become stressed. They've been happily cruising around ever since they used this! Because I'm always concerned about fake feedback popping up all over Amazon, I believe in giving positive reviews to products that actually work. This is one review you can trust.

I used to use it to balance the pH of the water in my vegetable garden
5/5

Using chloramine-containing water in the garden appears to be a nefarious practice. Chloramines in our drinking water appear to be safe (according to studies), but their use in the garden is something I'm not sure about. I purchased this product neutralizer in order to remove chloramines from the water supply in my garden. If I've made a mistake, only time will tell.

It's difficult to compare the product to others of its kind
3/5

This and other chlorine removal products are ambiguous about the amount of chlorine, copper, or other contaminants that must be removed. Advertisement should be more clear; I needed twice as much to remove it, so it wasn't quite as good a deal as I had hoped when I ordered it. The job was completed in the time frame that was specified.

It only takes a dab
5/5

I use this to dechlorinate my tap water for my fish tanks and plants and have had no problems with it. Just be careful because you don't need much and should read the directions before using because one bottle will probably last me years lol.
