Is this UV resistant, or do you need to coat/paint it to keep it protected?

With long-term UV exposure, the elastisizers in all spray foam products will be leached out. To achieve a natural look, most pond professionals will toss gravel and sand into the foam while it is still wet, but I would always recommend painted UV protection for exposed surfaces. The purpose of this product is to fill the gaps between rocks, not to stand out.

Leaks do occur in ponds and water falls, unfortunately. With this, I was able to fix my waterfall by slightly altering the water flow. Now there is no longer any leak.

Anyone who has worked with spray foam in an aquarium knows how awkward the dispensing straws can be. Considering that foam costs $20 per can, wasting it to get into a tight spot is wasteful and results in a lot of sanding. The dispenser included with the Savio Waterfall Foam is excellent because it allows for complete control of the inverted can and very little waste. br>br>Because a pro or plastic dispensing gun can cost upwards of $150, a difficult purchase to justify unless you do this kind of work for a living, it is well worth the extra few dollars for the dispenser. I'm not absolutely sure, but it seems like the can either empties more efficiently or there is about 30% more foam. When comparing the number of seals required for the same area/rock configuration, I came out on top:.
