On Amazon, you can buy cement for it.
Any pond liner that is suitable for fish should be suitable for aquaponics as well. However, I would be cautious about purchasing from this location because mine arrived with holes. It had to be patched in a few spots.
If your joint is below the water line in your pond, it will always leak water unless you use an industrial waterproof rubber sealer.
2., in my opinion. One is for the bottom, and the other is for the walls, which is glued around the perimeter.

This liner was a little thicker than others I'd gotten from local home improvement stores in the past. It had the appearance of having been sun-baked. Maybe that's what it's supposed to be, but because it's stiff, it's also brittle, and a rock fell in and punched a small hole in the bottom after it was finished. This is distressing because the rock was only a few pounds and had no sharp edges, and the pond had two feet of water.
For the past month, I've had this liner in my pond. The issue with this liner is that it does not adhere to the skin. My waterfall has now been rebuilt six times. The liner keeps straightening out, and the rocks fall into the pond, despite the fact that it's only a two-step waterfall. To say the least, I'm annoyed, and if I had the option, I would return it.
Not only did it come out of the box with a puncture hole in it, but I would not recommend it as a purchase. It's difficult to work with, and if you're not careful, you'll end up with creases that could lead to a tear. I sealed the hole and will see what happens because the liner isn't flexible or durable enough to create a pond this size.
It fit the hole perfectly and was extremely durable. It only takes a few minutes to lay the liner after the hole has been dug. Loved it. I intend to purchase again.
I gave it a positive rating because it would be ideal for everyday use. It arrived in good condition and on time. However, do not use it in a pond with a snapping turtle weighing 40 pounds. He sliced and diced it like a hot knife through butter.
It's bendable, more so than other thick liners that don't bend to fit a shape - Unless it's a pool or other fixed structure, this results in the desired area not being covered. It's still a bit of a struggle to cover out-of-shape digouts, but it gets better with time. Today, I looked beneath the house for any leaks. My movers blanket (which I used instead of sand or other fancy padding) is dry after pumping out the water with the submersible pump. I walked on it, as well. So now I just need to extend the bottom roundabout part of my pool to change fountain heads and clean pumps, and that's it. Always order a size larger than you normally would:.
The product was fantastic; it covered the entire area that I needed it to cover and is made of a very strong material; I haven't seen anything of this thickness in any local store; it can only be ordered through Amazon; it will last; it is made of a very durable material; and with Prime, it arrives the next day; it doesn't get any easier than that; my project was completed on time.
Half of the water has already leaked out this morning! I've replaced two smaller ponds with another brand of liner in the past and had no issues, and they're still going strong. This liner was supposed to be used to redo my largest pond before winter, but I've now wasted labor, water, money, and time despite the fact that the area was free of rocks, sticks, and other sharp objects and that I used a protective barrier on top of that. I'm going to return this for a refund and return to the pond liner brand I've trusted for 20 years. I'm enraged, frustrated, and sad.
