Thank you for your inquiry. Overlaying liner is only effective if it is placed above the water level. I strongly advise seaming if the point where the two pieces of liner will meet is underwater. If you're going to sell a product at a specific size, please cut it correctly; other manufacturers give you a few extra inches so you get the full size; it's disappointing that a large company like aqua scape can't give accurate measurements, or at the very least put down the real specs of cut liner in the listing so customers can decide if a few inches is acceptable to them. I'll be back!.
I used this wonderful product to replace a leaking hard liner. There was no additional digging required. It is extremely popular among the 18 fish.
I bought this 8" x 10" item while laying down next to my koi fish pond (which I replaced after the old one leaked). Several defective areas were discovered near the middle (photos shown). As a result, be cautious. Please lay down and double check for any defects or holes before you do anything. Don't feel bad about yourself. After the job is completed, it begins to leak.
As a pond liner, I used the product. It was an excellent solution. It is simple to use. Instead of just thick plastic, there's almost a hint of rubber. It is simple to use. Scissors make it simple to cut. I would strongly suggest it. As an example, take a look at the attached image of the work in progress. Remember to order your width and length, as well as some overlap to help secure the pond, when deciding on size. These pavers were purchased from Home Depot. Due to the fact that you will be going down and back up, multiply your length and width by two. This was a liner that measured 8x10 inches. The pond was about 12" deep, with a width of 5' and a length of 8'. I didn't have to trim any of the length, but I did have to trim a bit of the width.
I built a backyard waterfall and topped it with an Aquascape 85009 EPDM 45 Mil Rubber Liner. layman. I'm not concerned about the liner being damaged because it's thick. This is significant to me because I needed to replace a thinner liner while wearing it; true peace of mind I found it a little inconvenient to spread it out because I was working alone; It was, however, simple to place once it had been opened. br>I am so happy with this product that I would buy Aquascape 45 mil rubber liner again if I were to build another fountain.
I cut a long stream, waterfall, and pond out of this liner. I had to use two liners to get the job done. Other liners are much weaker and more difficult to work with than this one. It's been up for a few months and contains a lot of large rocks. Having a good time. It has made me very happy.
This is what I used to line a rectangular cedar tank. It was extremely effective! The only difficult part was folding it into a rectangular tank from a flat rectangle. I practiced the folding pattern on a sheet of paper and had no problems. br>br>I will repurchase this liner.
It's well-made. In my pond, I had a 14 mil that a clawed animal was able to puncture. I'm hoping this pond liner will last longer than the previous one. The only way to find out is to wait.
