It will, in fact. It performs admirably. I'll be ordering more in the near future. You also don't have to put a lot of effort into it. Just a smidgeon of an ounce. The size of the fountain will determine how many people can use it.
Hello,br>You can use it in an indoor tabletop fountain. This product does not require the use of bleach.br>Thank you very much.
If the algae and slime are the source of the odor, this product should be able to get rid of it as well. I use the product on a weekly basis and have never had an issue with algae (or odor!).

non-toxic, dangerous Both staining and non-staining products are available. foaming. It is not harmful to birds, plants, or animals, but it is harmful to fish. Fountec is the most effective and eco-friendly fountain treatment product currently available. The thing is, those words do not appear on the bottle; in fact, the bottle clearly states that it is dangerous to humans and animals, with warnings about how dangerous this product is covering more than a third of the label. I bought this item based on the description text because we have cats who "might" drink from a small fountain that I wanted to treat, so I needed something non-toxic. treatment that is potentially dangerous Imagine my disappointment when, upon receiving the bottle, there is no trace of the descriptive text displayed on the amazon page, and, to make matters worse, the bottle indicates that this product is a pesticide that is extremely harmful to humans and animals if ingested or absorbed through skin contact; I will be returning this product as soon as possible!.
Following my previous comment, I contacted the manufacturer of this product. I received the bottle that I had ordered after it arrived. My birdbath is used by birds, squirrels, raccoons, and cats, and the directions state that it is a pesticide that is dangerous to animals. Poisonous to animals was written on the label. WHEN BUYING, THIS MUST BE MADE CLEAR IN THE DESCRIPTION. This purchase will be returned. br>br>OK, I CALL THE MANUFACTURE AND THEY SAY IT IS SAFE. THE FDIC FORCES THEM TO MARK THE BOTTLE WITH THAT INFORMATION. SAFE FOR ALL ANIMALS, THEY SAY. BUT NOT FOR THE FISH. SCALES ARE NOT SAFE IN ANYTHING.
I put three drops of this in the fountain, and it's now clear! For all of the reviews claiming that this product is poisonous based on the bottle's warnings: Yes, if you drank this stuff DIRECTLY FROM THE BOTTLE or used the bottle to fill your bird bath undiluted, it would be way too strong! It also came at a high price. However, you're only putting a few drops into a large volume of water, so - Isn't that how it works in chemistry? It's diluted and made safe. As a result, keep that in mind. The majority of full-strength products are ineffective. However, when diluted in water, they are beneficial. ) The birds, as well as your fountain/pond/water source, appreciate you cleaning the grue from your container.
This is ideal for my small 25 gallon pond, which includes a small waterfall. I wanted something that would kill the algae without harming the wildlife, as I have a lot of birds and squirrels that drink or bathe in the pond, and my dog will drink from it as well. I have not seen any sick birds or squirrels, and my dog is in good health; I will definitely purchase again!.
I figured there had to be a product on the market for cleaning algae out of fountains after using bleach, which proved to be only a temporary solution. I found EasyCare FounTec Algaecide through a Google search and ordered it from Amazon right away. I only wish I had discovered this product earlier in the year, rather than in the middle of the year. the middle of the summer It's a cinch to use. My fountain was free of brown and green algae and remained clear throughout the summer. Following your initial dose, they recommend that you continue with weekly maintenance - I thought I'd skip the first week of maintenance after the initial treatment to see if the algae would grow back, but it didn't. It was a good lesson. The initial treatment is large, based on gallons, but weekly maintenance is only a few drops, based on the gallons in your fountain once again. If your beautiful fountain has become overgrown with algae, don't hesitate to purchase this product.
I'm not sure if it's safe for birds or other animals, but it's great for use indoors. I used this for almost a year in my fountains, and when I moved, I had to, of course, empty them. There was no odor, and there hasn't been since I started using it, and I was surprised to find no sludge or slime in my fountains when I emptied and cleaned them. It only takes a teaspoon, and I only used it when I needed to add water, which was about once a week. I bought this a year ago and I'm still halfway through the bottle! I'm glad I gave it a try because I'll never use anything else in my fountains again unless it's discontinued. After nearly two years, here's what we've discovered. I'm about a quarter of the way through the bottle. I started with just three drops and found that it was sufficient for my indoor fountains. I wish I had one outside; I'd put it to good use there, too. It's safe for reptiles, fish, birds, and other animals when diluted. Just don't go overboard and use half of the bottle; it's not necessary. Oh, and the water here is very hard with a lot of minerals, so no sludge, slime, or even a water line has ever formed. I'm going to buy more because I'm afraid the price will go up or it will be discontinued, as it seems to happen with most things I like.
This product was chosen because it is safe for pets and birds, according to the manufacturer's website. When I open the package, however, I see that the label clearly states that there are risks to humans and domestic animals. Because my dogs drink from my fountain, the information on the website is incorrect, and I will have to return the product.
I was skeptical at first, but it appears to be making a significant difference. I have three birdbaths in my yard, and the birds, especially the hummingbirds, love them. Robins wreak havoc on their lives. The bowls become overgrown with algae as a result of this shambles. Because the directions only call for 1 or 2 drops, it'll save you money in the long run. Squirrells and birds drink from the treated water on a daily basis, so they are unaffected by this product. I gave it four stars because it's too early to tell if it will prevent algae growth in the coming months. So far, everything is going well for me.
