Yes, you can use this thermometer to determine the temperature of the outside air.
A spa/hot tub's maximum temperature is typically set at 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It should be fine because our thermometer dial is marked up to 120F/50C.
I kept mine in my hand until it was completely full. I used the string to anchor it and keep it out of the skimme because I use it in my hot tub.

Others had complained about it not staying upright, so I looked into it further. I've never had any issues with it floating (even when the pump is running, the pool is being cleaned, or there are children in the pool). I've tested the temperature on it several times and it has always been correct. I would strongly advise you to purchase, and I intend to do so again. Excellent value for money; I would expect it to be more expensive.
I'm not sure how accurate the reading is because I haven't compared it to a different thermometer, but it's very simple to read. In the pool, she's adorable as hell. br>I went with this one because the turtle had more positive reviews. On the raft, there is a polar bear.
The price is reasonable for the product; if it were any higher, I would not have looked at it. Overall, the thermometer is a little smaller than others, but it is accurate.
When I opened it, it was very well packaged and in good condition. Would suggest.
The text is simple to read and appears to be accurate. I like how the thermometer floats and is easy to see when the kids untether it.
