It works well with cardboard boxes, but not with plastic. I can't use it to tape my mattress storage bags shut because it's completely useless. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> This is a complete disaster. It was purchased for moving/storage purposes, but it is becoming untangled from all of the boxes. Even after a few days, it still doesn't hold. At first, it appeared to be good quality, but I quickly learned otherwise; I tried a few of the rolls to see if one was a dud, but they're all garbage.
I was under the impression that tape was tape, but this was not the case. Quality came at the expense of price. Because the tape is taped down, it takes a long time to start at the beginning! Why would you tape that part down, making it more difficult to begin each roll? As a result, I end up wasting a lot of time trying to get the thing to lift up, picking at the arrows over and over again. I'm hoping the manufacturer keeps an eye on these comments and decides not to make the arrows stick to the tape. Guys, go with a different brand.
The competition is fierce, and brand evaluation and personal experience provide clear tape with which to choose, necessitating a large investment. Duck MAX 100 X is more than just a place where you can get things done; it's the best product for keeping your plans, your express, and your motivation to others' work safe. Is there anything else I can bring to the table besides my experience? YES, I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT I have so many rolls of various adhesive tapes that I am the only expert with insufficient workspace. Funny? It's also a good question in a way. I can only recommend Duck MAX 100 X as a package tape that you should PURCHASE AHEAD of time!.
Horrible! I've been using DUCK tape for a long time. I've never had a problem with it. Even better, I thought, would be duck MAX. WRONG! br>It's difficult to get the roll started, it "chips," it doesn't stick as well as regular duck tape, and I find that I need more, so there's no real value in buying the MAX. I'll see what I can do with Amazon to get my money back. Horrible. It's a terrible tape.
Dispenser is a complete waste of time! It's a great tape. Great adhesion and tensile strength, far beyond the capabilities of the low-cost dispenser! I went through a lot of tape before it became "loose" enough to use. To begin with, it's nearly impossible to get the tape to start. The tape is extremely sticky, which is a good thing, but you must hold the "dispenser" in such a way that it exerts pressure on the tape roll, making it even more difficult to remove. The cutter was nearly useless when I finally got it to pull free! Even by wadding the tape up and tugging as hard as I could, I couldn't get it to cut. With some effort and the loss of about 6 feet or so of tape, I eventually got it to work.
There should be a tab on the edge so you can see where it starts! Also, I have to fold the edge of the tape so I can start it next time because it will not stay under the tabs after it has been used. br>This tape sticks very well, but it is not worth the trouble getting the edge started. br>I just threw away my final four rolls. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

You'd be surprised how much tape we go through while running a small cat rescue. We take 10-minute walks twice or four times a month. It is critical that we do not mix up cats as we transport 15 cats to the vet from one central location (many of these cats are owned cats whose owners cannot afford vet care or spays and neuters). We use Duck Max strength packing tape to tape a card with the cat's basic information, as well as the owner's information, to the top of the carrier. Then we tape a plastic sheet protector to the carrier and stick consent forms, vaccination records, and other important documents to ensure that everything stays with the cats and there is no room for error. They see between 70 and 80 people at the clinic where we go. Each cat must be clearly marked, and their paperwork must be kept with each cat, as they handle 150 animals per day. We also use this tape to hang signs to help owners find their lost cats. We are very happy with the quality and price of this product, and it will most likely become our only brand of tape.
I bought a six-pack of this tape to see how well it works on packages. I'm selling some of my uncle Bob's 40-year collection of items for my aunt. I've had a lot of packages to send out recently. I needed a small roll to make applying to the packages easier, and these Duck Max rolls fit the bill perfectly. The rolls are easy to hold on to, making it easier to apply the tape. When I run out of this product, I'll reorder it. This product has met all of my expectations.
