Questions & Answers

Is there a 3" core in this product? Is it going to fit in a standard Duck tape dispenser?

It should fit in a Deck Tape dispenser, I believe. It's exactly 3" core, as I just measured it for you.

I'm looking for a good clear tape that sticks to a wall for hanging posters. Has anyone tried this tape and has anything to say about it aside from the boxes?

The only issue may be removing the poster without removing the paint from the (dry) wall - The adhesive holds up well, particularly when burnished. To be sure, check a hidden area of the wall. Have you experimented with Command Large Picture- Strips to hang on?

Although the title says "three pack," the description only says "one roll." Is it one of these?

This package contains "3" rolls. I'll add that it's a good tape that won't tear; you'll need scissors or a knife to cut it; don't let it stick to itself after you cut it, or you'll have a hard time getting it started again.

Will this dispenser work with both the larger and smaller rolls of package tape?

Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry! The dispenser should be able to handle any size roll with a 3" core.

NOPE! The price was not justified
3/5

I buy almost everything on Amazon, which means I have a lot of cardboard boxes to recycle every week. br>Because I also sell things online, I occasionally need to tape up packages for shipping, so I wanted to invest in a good packaging tape with excellent adhesion. I purchased the Duck HP260 tapes because they have three tracks. The tape is 1 mil thick, which is quite thick in comparison to other tapes, but I've learned that thickness does not always equate to better adhesion. WHAT I LIKE: br>br> br>br>[] Tape is extremely thick and clear. br>br>WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-]br>br>[-]br>[-]br>[-]br>[- Adhesion is a dreadful thing. Any resistance or movement on the packaging causes the tape to easily lift up. br>[- ] Each tape is only 60 yards long due to its thickness, which means it runs out twice as fast as other similar packaging tapesbr>[- ] It's a bit on the expensive side. I'm willing to pay a higher price for better quality, but if the tape's adhesion is poor, it's useless. br>br>THE BOTTOM LINE: 2 out of 5 stars br>br> They were insufficiently strong to tape up cardboard boxes, so it was a waste of money for me. I eventually settled for less expensive tapes with better adhesion and a much longer roll length. br>I suppose you could call this a heavy-duty tape because it is so thick, but what good is it if it doesn't stick well? br>br>I would not recommend this tape because it is not worth the money. It's no surprise that the duck on the tape appears sad. br>I hope you found this information to be helpful. Please use the helpful button below if this was the case. Thank you very much!.

Not in the case of cardboard! My address has changed
4/5

a lot. I've figured out which tapes are good, great, and trash. This tape is simply insufficient for moving purposes. It will not stick to dusty or unfinished cardboard boxes, such as those sold by moving companies. The pace is excellent. It may be pressed, rubbed, or smoothed, but it frequently falls off. This isn't as much of an issue when using glossy cardboard. This is what I use for packing and moving: 3850 Scotch Whisky Scotch Whisky Scotch Whisky Scot 1 pound of heavy-duty shipping packaging tape, 6 pound of heavy-duty shipping packaging tape 88" x 54. Also available on Amazon in 6 Yards, 3" Core, 6 Rolls. Having said that, I ADORE THIS DUCK CLEAR TAPE! I've been using it for other purposes for quite some time. Because it is both strong and clear, it is ideal for a wide range of repairs. I have a large library, and I use Duck HP 260 for all of my repairs. I use this tape to protect the bar codes on the back of my books that I made at the office. Have you ever accidentally torn a page from a notebook? Place a piece of HP 260 on the page's edge and fold it in half. make your holes - It is not going to tear out again. This tape serves many purposes in my workshop and office, and its thickness, crystal clarity, and durability make it one of TWO tapes I purchase. Just not in the case of cardboard.

This tape is something I despise, despise, despise, despise, despi It has poor adhesion, rips easily, and has a foul odor
3/5

When I first tried this horrible tape, I made the huge mistake of buying an entire pack of 8 rolls. br>I'm pretty sure it's shortening my life because it significantly raises my blood pressure every time I use it. br>After writing this review, I'm going to bite the bullet and toss the remaining four rolls away. I use a lot of tape because I ship a lot of guitars for my business. I've experimented with a number of different kinds. br>The problems with this garbage are as follows:
1. If you "miss the end" of the tape, MAY GOD BLESS YOU. In other words, if you don't have a tape dispenser and accidentally let go of the end of the tape, it will (a) be nearly impossible to find the end, even with good fingernails; and (b) it will be nearly impossible to find the end if you don't have a tape dispenser. (b) when you finally find the end, the tape is so thin that lifting a corner with your fingernail results in ripping off a tiny piece of tape; and (c) if you are skilled enough to lift a corner without ripping off a small piece, you will only be able to peel back a thin strip rather than the entire width of the tape when you peel it back. If you're lucky, you'll be able to rip off a triangular-shaped piece that requires you to peel off about one-third of the roll's circumference before the piece you're peeling off becomes the roll's entire width. The answer is simple: USE A TAPE DISPENSER OR YOU WILL BE REGRETTING NOT DOING SO.
2. The tape does not adhere to the surface very well. This has been brought up by a number of other reviewers. I haven't seen it peel off in minutes like some others have, but I can tell it's not as sticky as other tapes I've used. So I just use it to apply labels, and I secure my packages with HD Clear tape (also from the same manufacturer). That's some pretty good stuff. Also, this stuff is so flimsy and prone to tearing that I wouldn't trust it to secure a $4,000 guitar case in the first place.
3. It has a revolting and overpowering chemical odor, which I despise. If I've been using the tape, when my young children enter the room, they immediately smell it and exclaim, "Ewwww!" It's that vile odor all over again! ", and they flee the room as quickly as they can. br>br>As I previously stated, the same manufacturer also produces HD Clear tape (green label), which is excellent. It also has a foul odor, but at least I know I can trust it with my valuable shipments, and it's simple to "restart" if the tape is accidentally lost. I'm baffled as to why the manufacturer continues to produce this HP260 nonsense. It should be phased out in favor of the HD Clear.

AN EXTREMELY STICKY TAPE THAT WORKS WONDERS! When I consider how many times I've moved, I get the feeling of being a nomad
5/5

It's funny because we spent 30 years growing up in the same house. I've moved SIX TIMES since I've been on my own, including my most recent move to larger quarters. I used less expensive tape for two of my moves. Hey, I was a young autistic woman who had recently moved out on her own and was poor. br>br>When I started making good money in a killer awesome job, I moved out of the ghetto and into the first house I owned in the county. By this time, I had a lot of high-quality material items that needed to be packed away. It was then that I came across Duck HP260 Packing Tape Refill. A high-end packing tape dispenser was one of the items I brought with me. I was packing boxes like a fiend with this Duck HP260 Packing Tape Refill. If you have good packing equipment, this tape is simple to use. In the unlikely event that you misplace the beginning of the tape, it is thick and sturdy enough to allow you to easily restart the roll. br>br>When purchased in bulk, the tape is durable and a good value. This tape is resistant to tearing, bunching, and other misbehavior. It has no material flaws and peels cleanly from the roll. I've had no issues with this tape and would recommend it to anyone.
