The red Scotch dispenser was what I used. I don't think they're meant to be reused, but they slide apart easily enough to remove the empty roll and replace it with a new one.
I can't seem to find the exact mil on any of the packaging, but it's a thick, durable tape. It's what I use for packaging as an online seller. It's tough and clings to everything. It's something I'll buy again in the future.
I'm not sure... I'd have to check with my agency to see what they prefer... it's good tape. excellent quality I've never lifted prints before, though...

This tape is extremely fragile; it is prone to tearing, and if you need to restart the feed, it will peel off in strips rather than as a single piece of tape. It doesn't stick to cardboard boxes very well; To keep my boxes from opening during the move, I had to use twice as much tape as I normally would just to tape the tape down. If you're thinking about buying this tape to help you move, think twice. The tearing is extremely inconvenient and wastes both time and tape. It's a good thing this purchase came with so many rolls.
I sell online, so I need packing tape on a regular basis. However, due to the pandemic, the stores where I usually get my tape were closed, so I went online and found this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the tape; for the price, I had expected it to be thinner and that I would need to make several passes before feeling confident that the package was secure, but this was not the case. It's something I'd strongly suggest. 👍.
Good stuff at a good price. I'm on my third roll and have had no problems with foul chemical odors, uneven/unwanted tears, or sticking to various types of cardboard. Overall, this was a great deal and my current go-to product. to a tape manufacturing firm.
It adheres well to itself, but not as well to cardboard. Splits lengthwise every now and then.
It's been pretty good so far. Curls in on itself at times, but it's simple to peel back with care. I'm still on the first roll and haven't had any issues removing it; chemical odors are not present; There were no uneven or unwanted tears, and the tape adhered well to various types of cardboard (I always rub the scissor handle over the tape to ensure a good stick). This will last me a long time, but I'd look for a 2 next time. This is 2mm thick if it is 5mm thick or more. I transfer the product from a fixed dispenser to the package by hand. Overall, it appears to be working. It's even better than the M tape's last roll!.
When I was assisting a friend with their move, he told me about this brand. The 3M kept peeling away from the cardboard boxes, and it stayed put. I run an Etsy shop and was fed up with the tape I bought at Costco peeling off boxes on my way to the post office, so I switched to this and had no issues this Christmas season! I would strongly suggest it.
This tape's performance has exceeded our expectations.
