On cloth, the adhesive would most likely not last long.
This adhesive appears to be designed for use on hard surfaces, in my opinion. br>Unless the pile is very low or none at all, I don't think it would hold on fabric.
I only know it does a great job of holding the toll tag monitor on our front windshield. We needed more strips because we had just purchased a new car.

I've had an EZ Pass for a number of years, and it's remained on my car despite several windshield replacements. I never paid attention when my windshield was replaced, so I assumed the transponder was always held in place by the original adhesive, and that when I traded in my car last month, I could simply pry it off and attach it to my new vehicle. It had been there for two days before I discovered it on the center console. I went to the store and bought Velcro squares to reattach the transponder to the windshield. This went on for three days and nights. Then I went to Amazon and looked for transponder mounting supplies, and I came across this product, which is similar to Velcro but not identical. And, no matter what adhesive is used, it sticks to the windshield and transponder even when the temperature outside is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It may seem counterintuitive that the type of adhesive used on a small, light device like a transponder matters, but it does. The transponder is still attached to the windshield after two weeks.
They're the double lock variety (both sides are identical and interlock!). ) I purchased these to go with my other vehicles! (The office did not offer or have additional strips when I received my EZ Pass! What makes them believe that everyone only owns one vehicle? ) Clean the windshield area with an alcohol swipe, turn on your defroster, wait for the alcohol to evaporate, apply the strip to the EZ Pass transponder, peel off the protective strip, apply the transponder to the windshield, lightly press BADA BING! Everything is in order!.
Because these were previously available for free, I've given them three stars. COVID made it impossible to find them at the toll plaza. They worked fine, so that's not a problem.
I needed to replace my windshield, so I went on the hunt for velcro strips that would hold up. I tried two different products, like many others, but neither of them improved my easy pass. These EZ pas stips were a lucky find for me, and they're fantastic!.
slit the adhesive strips We used the tape to attach our Ipass to the windshield, and it's clear, which is convenient. It's fantastic to have a number of options available ahead of time. cut pieces for other jobs that call for it.
I don't see how they could go wrong with this for its intended purpose. I looked at a few and put them in my cart, but I ultimately chose this one because of the value for money.
The glue on the original velcro melted because it was so hot this summer. This item is clear, comes with two alcohol wipes, and is the exact width needed. In less than 30 seconds, I was able to open the package. I'm moving on to the next point on my to-do list.
