They don't provide information on application temperature, so I turn on the engine for a few minutes with a defroster to at least warm it up a little.
I only used it on the window of my car. It stuck a few times after switching cars, but I'm not sure how it would behave on clothes or in the washing machine.

To replace strips in a new vehicle, I only needed one side of the pass device. It's compatible with my existing EZ-Link system. Pass (didn't take off the old strips from the EZ-Strips) When I put it on the new strips, I was able to pass).
For various applications, I've used a variety of 3M / Gorilla tapes as well as industrial velcro (hook and loop). In the heat and cold of the Rocky Mountains, this method works flawlessly to keep transmitters, dashcams, and GPS antennas attached to your windshield. br>br>They're also great for adhering to other plastics for mounting things like power strips, touch panels, and other accessories where a long and strong hold against gravity and children is required.
The new EZ Pass is smaller and more compact, with a smaller adhesive strip contact area. After about a year, the original strips were no longer viable. These strips seem to be holding up well and should last longer. If they don't work out, I now have extras.
I'll be honest, I was hoping this would work, and it did for a total of two minutes. Everything was done by me, from cleaning the window to applying it at night when the sun was not shining. What's more, no matter how clean or cool the window is, it won't hold. Heat is the enemy, and I'll admit that I wanted to return it, and they were gracious enough to refund my money. So, despite the fact that the product is a waste of money, they were courteous when it came to returns.
Also. do note: This is for a PA (Pennsylvania) EZ pass that was about 5 years old and fit in the window but wouldn't stay on.
* Are you tired of holding your EZ Pass up to your front window by hand in the hopes that it will be recognized? br>* Are you tired of losing your EZ Pass in the ominous "THE GLOVE BOX," a nightmarish dark cubicle? br>* Are you a fan of velcro? And then you put that velcro on something else, and then you put that thing on MORE VELCRO? br>br>My friend, if you answered "yes" to any of those difficult questions, then this product is for you. It clings to you, holds you in place, and ties you together. It gives "EZ Pass" a whole new meaning! WARNING: br>br> The EZ Pass is not included in the package.
I'm pretty sure this is the locking tape I was looking for. It's identical to what came with my EZ Pass. I suppose this isn't true velcro because both sides are the same, so there's no hook and loop, but the adhesion is excellent. To prepare the window, the kit includes an alcohol wipe. 3M is the manufacturer of this locking tape. I can think of a lot of good uses for this, but it's perfect for what I needed it for, which was to stick my EZ Pass to my windshield. Great seller.
Alcohol pad is more than water. When I wiped the "alcohol" off the windshield, it just sat there, not dissipating. After realizing it wouldn't go away, I had to wipe it off. br>br>Don't bother with the wipe; the strips will suffice. I'm not counting on them being genuine 3M because so much on Amazon is fake, but it'll only be holding a light plastic box.
I recently purchased a new vehicle and required Velcro strips to install on the windshield. I have a valid I-card issued by the state of Illinois. Pass, but I live in Michigan, so getting the strips from a local store is difficult. These are a perfect match for the I-frame's existing strips. Transponder must be passed. The level of adhesion is excellent. Make sure it's in the right spot, because once the strips are in place, they're there to stay.
