If you could remove the backing from both sides of these sticky dots, they'd be fantastic. I spent seven months dissecting mosquito mouth parts, and I'm still doing it, even with a pair of micro-scopes. I can't get the backing off the top side with tweezers, and it's impossible to get the backing off the pre-cut side. The cut/top side of each dot is useless. I gave some to a neighbor with long, spindly fingers and nails, but she couldn't peel off the backing and had to throw them away.
Terrible. I bought some cork board strips and used thumb tacks to attach them to the wall. I had intended to use them as a necklace holder by sticking them to the back of a closet door. There's nothing too substantial here. All I had to do now was adhere the strips to the door. br>br>These circles do not adhere well enough to stay in place while the outer layer is peeled away. br>br>Because peeling the second side is difficult, it doesn't help when it slides out of place. I attempted to glue them in place, but all I had was Elmer's glue. It wasn't a good idea. br>br>I just ordered some old-fashioned poster putty. Scotch mounting tape is a roll of tape that is used to hold objects together. Best of luck to me.
They're far superior to regular tape in terms of performance. Even on painted wood, they do a good job of holding things up. br>br>You can even re-arrange the items on the wall, and the dots will re-arrange themselves. stick! br>br>In my classroom, I've used them to hang posters and borders. Instead of the strips that normally come with command hooks, I used them on the backs of them. It was more difficult to remove the adhesive than it was to stick to the product, which disappointed me. I'm hoping it will stick with me over time.
However, for a birthday party, I used them to hang streamers from my ceiling. When I tried to remove them, the paper was torn away. I'm going to try heating up the glue with a blow dryer or something similar to see if that helps. My drywall was also torn apart by the paint and paper.
When I finally got a few out, I noticed that they were all the same, with no adhesive. They were just a small, jumbled up ball with no shape. It got worse every time I tried to flatten it out, so it was a waste of money. Maybe a bad batch? I just needed them for balloons, but I couldn't get them on. Right in the tips of my fingers, I'd balked.
Others have noted that the adhesive is so weak that it couldn't even keep a 3" x 5" piece of note paper stuck to the refrigerator surface. The only redeeming feature is the low price, which makes it acceptable to discard the entire sheet!.
I had some wall decals that wouldn't stay on the wall in my kids' rooms. These easily adhered to the walls, and I haven't had any issues with anything falling off since I began using them. They're clear, and you can't see them under the decals, which I really like. Excellent product. You get a lot for your money, and I'll never read them all!.
