It's hard for me to count how many dead staplers I've accumulated over the years, but this Swingline Optima Grip has never let me down. Failures and clogs are absent My love for the automatic stapler was so strong that I recently purchased a second one for my other desk so that I would have a spare. A couple of other features that I like are its ability to staple numerous sheets of paper and its ability to remain firmly affixed to any surface (or to be honest, to the accumulation of papers on the surface), without budge. Another of these totally reliable little staplers would be my first purchase if I had a third desk.
Very easy to use, and it works well for 20 sheets of paper. I like having options to either use the grip or use the automatic mode. The weight of the device is just right, and it stands up without tipping.
It's the best stapler I've ever used. The simplicity of not touching the stapler, which I do a lot of stapling, is amazing to me. It didn't work very well when I had a hands free stapler before. If you're looking for a good one, this is it.
