As of March 2019, I finally threw away the massive electric stapler I had been using for the past 20 years. The stapler I chose to try to replace the stapler I lost in a period of mourning was chosen after a period of appropriate mourning. I'll never use this stapler again. The machine is only rated for 20 sheets, but it jams constantly. It will result in the destruction of your documents if you attempt to staple more than 10 pages in a row. I wish I could return it, but I'm stuck with this inferior piece of hardware, and I had to part with the sweet sweet memory of my stapler.

There isn't enough time for it to work. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM AT ALL if you are reading this. I wouldn't even bother to use this piece of trash for one day because it eats up batteries without your knowledge. The fact that it sits there consumes energy. My first thought was that it was the batteries I was using, however I've tried 4 different types of batteries including Brand names such as Energizer and Duracell with no change. The low battery light remains on the very next day without me even using this junk and It seems like I spent more money replacing the batteries than I did on this piece of junk. If you want to buy something else or even an electric one, do yourself a favor and buy something else. My only problem with these junky items is that I cannot even return them because they won't take them.

As a result, I have used this stapler style for over 4 years now. It was about six months ago I had a problem with my four-year old one. I bought an additional one, but it soon gave out as well. My current one is only 3 months old and the motor is likely to fail very soon. This is my second replacement in 5 months. This stapler only staples about half of the time. It used to be a great product, but after 2 missed staples, I will not be purchasing it again.
