I bought this to make a dial face for an antique radio, and I'm very happy with the results. Yes, the dial in the photo is made of decal paper printed on aluminum in black! I was afraid it would jam, but it went through my Brother laser printer just like regular A4 paper. Before printing my actual decal, I marked a test piece of paper on one side to ensure that it was right side up. Even when my piece was over 7" in diameter, it loosened up nicely in warm water and was actually quite thick compared to other decals I used. I gently massaged it away from the backing in small sections, and it adhered very smoothly after that. I pressed out the remaining water with a paper towel, and my design appears to have been silk screened. Overall, this is excellent decal paper, and I will certainly use it in future restorations.
They don't do what they say they're going to do. Whether you print with an inkjet or a laser printer, the ink will dissolve. For me, it was a squander of funds.
It went on smoothly when I used it to add a logo to a turned pen. To keep it from puckering, you'll need to experiment with the types of ca you use to finish it. In 4-years, I had the most success with thin. 5 coats. This is an excellent product.
I figured it out despite the fact that it came in a plain white cardboard box with no instructions. The printer ruined one sheet, but the rest were fine.
The final product is stunning. I'm hoping they'll be around for a long time.
It was the first time I made my own decals, and I was extremely pleased with the results.
You have the option of adding custom designs and a professional appearance. It works great and is very simple to use. All kinds of items can be customized with custom designs and professional-looking decals. It was easy to use with a Samsung C410 color laser printer. Most laser printers should be able to use it.
My order arrived just the other day. I haven't tried it yet, but it appears to be of good quality.
