I don't know for sure because I usually use waterslide to put on stainless steel cups that will be coated with epoxy. However, I believe that if you bake them in the oven according to the directions, you should be fine for light hand washing. I wouldn't scrub at all if it were up to me. Also, make sure the waterslide has a LOT of clear coat on it before you apply it! This will ensure that the image lasts longer!

No, it's unlikely to work. Waterdlide paper for laser printers can be found here. You should be able to find it if you look a little harder.
No, a clear, such as ruetoleum clear 2x, should be used instead. This is the method I employ.

Set your printer to print a narrower, longer piece of paper than usual (at least in the United States). ) They failed to inform us of this.
2. Print the image to the size you want it to be, making sure the shiny side is facing the printer heads and the margins aren't too wide. (Depending on the printer, this can be different. ) Mine was lying on its side. ) Please note that this image is not mirrored.
3. Apply a clear coat to the print's surface in an even and consistent manner. I didn't use auto paint; instead, I used Krylon clear Matt finish.
4. Allow the clear coat to air dry or use a hair dryer to speed up the process. For best results, I suggest using a dryer. Allowing it to dry naturally is not recommended.
5. Cut out your decal, leaving enough space on the edge for you to hold it without grabbing the image.
6. In a shallow pan of water, place a sponge or absorbent cloth. After the sponge has been saturated, place your decal on top of it, printed side up, and lightly dab the printed side with a wet cloth. If you rub it too much, the ink will come off.
7. Check that your decal is lifting away from the paper backing before applying it to your desired surface.
8. To remove the excess water, gently dab the decal with a soft brush or a wet Q tip to smooth out any air bubbles. (Do not use SalvoSet at this point. )
9. Allow for air drying or use a hair dryer to speed up the process.
10. You can now use the salvoset to smooth out any remaining bubbles or to shape it to fit around objects. To avoid removing the ink, go slowly and carefully.
11. If you're using it as a model, bake or air dry it according to the instructions before applying another coat of clear coat. The importance of the clear coat cannot be overstated. If you've used other printer transfers before, you might think this step isn't necessary, but trust me, it is. br>Take a look at the illustration below. After my first attempt, where no clear coat was completely absorbed in the water, I lightly sprayed this simple strip with clear coat. br>I tried it on my piece anyway to see how easy it was to transfer the green dome (see photo below). The thinly coated decal is extremely stretchy, and the parts that were not washed away cracked and separated under the strain. I assumed I needed a thicker, more even coat of clear coat, and I was correct (see image of dome with number). This time, I applied a thicker, more even coat of clear coat and dried it with a hair dryer to see if the colors would set. As evidenced by the white strip beneath the numbers, the colors didn't even set with the thinner coats. After the water ran off the number 6 decal, it took away a lot of the color, then after I applied Salvoset, it took away the rest; BTW, the remaining white stuff is difficult to lift off. I'll have to sand and repaint this dome, which will detract from the attractive number 6. br>By the time I tried my third stripe on a different dome, I had figured out all the problems: you have to dry the clear coat with a hair dryer, and you can't expose the printed surface to too much water, no matter how dry or how much clear coat there is. As a result, I added a stripe to my sand dome, and it turned out perfectly with those precautions. (See the photo of the sand dome below. ) Before applying the decal, I clear coated the dome to smooth out the surface and make it easier to place the decal without cracking or wearing out the paint. Because the clear transfers were not opaque enough to retain the color, I ordered these decals with the WHITE substrate rather than the transparent substrate. The reds became brown, and the yellows nearly vanished. The color is extremely vibrant, making the time spent applying them well worth it. However, I only gave them three stars because the instructions are poorly written and they require (I cannot emphasize this enough) a clear coat or the decal will completely wash out if placed in water. Even with a good clear coat, the colors are extremely delicate.
It is extremely simple to operate. These were used to create logos for a set of cups I'm designing for myself. I used my Silhoutte Cameo3 to make these. The best advice I can give is to plan ahead of time what you're going to make and try to fit as many as possible on one sheet. Before cutting out your work, apply the clear coat first. Because the clear coat seals the edges and makes removing the transfer from the paper difficult. (I hope you understood what I was saying. ) br> When I applied my decal to the cup, it looked like this. After allowing it to dry, I sealed the logo and paint with a 2k automotive clear coat.
I was planning on returning this paper, but I changed my mind and decided to give it another shot. It was entirely my fault that the system was malfunctioning. 4 or 5 small coats of clear coat are required for the paper. Allow at least an hour to pass. Allow the paper to soak in the water for about 45 seconds before gently removing it. The paper now works flawlessly using this method. I'll buy this paper again without a doubt!.
The first time I ordered from this seller, the package was purple, and the paper was beautiful! However, when I reordered, the second one was pink, and the paper was unworkable! The first was glossy and worked fine, but the second was matte, impossible to remove from the backing, and the color cracked every time (even after sealing)!! The only difference between the packages is the color, as well as the fact that the pink one says made in China! I'd like to order again if I know I'll get the first one, but I'm now looking for something else because I don't want the pink! It turned out to be a complete waste of money! Hopefully, the seller will be able to explain or guarantee that I will receive the correct items when I place my order!.
This is a Chinese version of waterslide paper that is of poor quality. The design warps, stretches, and tears with each attempt at removing it from the paper. I've used waterslide paper before (usually Papillio) with no issues and have never had a problem. The remainder of this garbage will be disposed of.
It's highly suggested! Decal paper is fantastic. In my HP printer, it printed more clearly than other decal papers. I used a hair dryer to dry the ink and was able to clear coat it almost instantly without smudging it. (I used Krylon gloss clear) It came off the paper easily after dipping it in water, and I was able to apply it and reposition it a few times before it adhered to the surface cleanly. On a last-minute project, this paper came to the rescue!.
These are a little on the pricey side for what you get. It would be more helpful if they provided clearer instructions. When you purchase these, you're purchasing ink for an inkjet printer. Prior to use, they must be sealed. It would be great if they could recommend a sealant for you to use. For the money you're spending, you're not getting a lot of sheets. When you seem to waste 3 to 4 sheets trying to figure out what steps you need to take to seal the envelope. It appears to be very simple to remove. It takes a little more effort to make them look right. It would be beneficial to have better instructions. Still think the price is a little high for what you get after wasting at least two to three sheets just trying to get them to work. I still haven't figured out how to make them work as smoothly as they do in the videos, and I'm still looking for a good one to use.
I was able to create water slide decals for 4x4" tiles to use as a backsplash that matched the existing tiles, which are no longer manufactured! Many layers of polyurethane spray were used to seal the area! Before you apply it and do the water part, you must use very thin coats because too thick coats will cause it to crack. This is something I am well aware of. Have a can of air nearby because you don't want any fuzz or anything on them before you spray them and seal them after the printed and in between coats, as I did the first time.
