This is a TINY piece of paper. Even when wet down and slid gently, it rips far too easily. When you gently try to remove the bubbles from underneath, the color of the laser toner comes off. Even if you think you've moistened and fastened it down, there will be an edge that is loose after it dries because there isn't enough glue left after sliding it over. The suggestion to spray it with clear acrylic sealer is incorrect. After the print was dry, I used Plaid clear acrylic sealer, which melted holes in the print. RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I'm looking for a slide paper that is more dependable. This is NOT the case! PLUS, this size is NOT an 8 1/2 by 10 inch standard size; it is longer and narrower than a standard laser printer size. Slide paper that you can count on? This isn't it, once again! br>AMAZON: AMAZON: AMAZON: AMAZON: AMAZON: AM I wrote this review a few days ago, and it is still missing from their product page this morning. REALLY? This film is extremely thin, making it unsuitable for use in my tumbler company. I figured I'd give it a shot because the reviews I read said it was promising. I will not buy this product again. br>br> br>br>The film is so thin that it pulls apart while being applied under water. Never- the process of releasing the water from beneath it has come to an end. If I could get it to start applying, there is no adhesion that I can find.
I tried my hardest to make the application smooth so there would be no bubbles when I baked it, but two of the first four cups I made had bubbles. I was a little disappointed and frustrated. These are wedding thank you gifts, so I'm hoping I can get it right.
You can't get rid of wrinkles or bubbles with just one touch. The backing will not peel off as directed, and if it is slid off, the film will slide out of place. You can't use a cloth to smooth it out or to dry it as instructed. I've had no problems with other waterslides in the past. There is also no simple way to contact the seller with questions, and if there is, I was unable to locate it.
It's extremely delicate and prone to tearing. For the price, there are better quality brands available; don't waste your money or time attempting to make it work.
Tumblers and pens can be made this way. I've tried a lot of different water slide and peel-and-stick products for pens, and this is by far my favorite.
I'm only getting started with it, but it's a lot of fun!.
When I wet it to adhere to my projects with my laser printer, the color began to fade. When I tried to apply it to tile ornaments, it was extremely thin and folded easily. When I tried to use a spray sealer, the paper immediately crinkled up.
