You won't be able to do that. We have a transparent water decal available that should be applied to a clear or light surface.
Yes, it is possible. I gave it my best shot, and it paid off. Please remember to spray it as well.

This is incredible stuff! I'm new to this, but it was incredibly simple to follow the instructions, and I ended up with some really cool images on coffee mugs, acrylic key chains, and other items! I only had one problem, and it was entirely my fault because I didn't use enough finishing spray (the ink bled). But, once again, I was to blame!). This is my kind of stuff! *****EDIT***** I bought this in May 2021 and was so pleased with it that I ordered another pack in mid-June 2021. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but no matter how closely I follow the instructions or how successfully I spray with an acrylic clear spray before placing in water, the results are always the same. Nothing! It'll continue to splatter ink all over the place! It's so frustrating because I made such beautiful things with the first pack I ordered, and they all transferred perfectly! I'm not sure what went wrong with this last pack, but I'm returning it and ordering a new one in the hopes that it will work! br>****07/09/21**** I ordered a replacement pack and have no idea what's up! I had great luck with the first two packs, but the last two packs have had serious ink bleeding no matter how long I let them dry or how perfectly I sprayed them with clear spray! I suppose it's a hit-or-miss situation with these.
I've tried numerous times and in a variety of ways to make this stick. It continues to crimp. I've experimented with various sealers, water temperatures, and other variables, all with the same sloppy results.
When placed on anything, the paper is extremely thick, and the clear part can be seen.
This paper seemed strange to me at first, but I used it and it turned out great.
I am not interested in purchasing. We bought these to use on a ceramic mug to transfer an image. It didn't stay on for very long. It was a breeze to remove. This was a complete waste of money.
More sheets were thrown away than were actually used. Purchasing vinyl decal sheets is the better option.
