Other reviewers point out that the PaperDirect website has free templates at the time of writing. This template comes with a single page. There's a good chance you'll need more than four placecards. It will be necessary to duplicate the page several times: "Select all" in Word, right-click "copy," and then click at the paper's edge to de-select. To paste with formatting, select and right-click. There are now two pages available for you to use. You can do this again to get 4, 8, and so on. br>After you've added all of your guests, print one page on regular paper and place it behind the placecard sheet. Check to see if it's straight. br>I discovered that the text was aligned incorrectly. Before each paragraph, I went into paragraph formatting and added 12 points. br>It takes a long time to separate the individual placecards at the microperfs, but they do so cleanly. The end result is pleasing. br>However, a significant amount of scrap paper is thrown away. I would have preferred them to be a little shorter so that they could fit six on a sheet.
Why don't you join in on the fun? The paper stock and ease of bursting were fantastic, so it's a shame they only got one star. However, when it came time to print, the template only printed the first line of the 100-person guest list, rendering it useless. To find it, I had to sift through a hundred user comments! As a result, I converted my excel file to. Staples found similar paper, printed it, and cut it for $42 after I emailed it to them as a pdf. It's too late to return this paper, of course!.
I looked everywhere for a template that would allow me to easily print names on these cards, but none of them supported a mail merge. Fortunately, my partner is computer savvy, and he was able to create a template that we could use. I don't have any issues with the product now that we've done that. The cardstock is sturdy, and separating each card was simple.
Beware. The packaging does not include a template. The package says paper direct, but after looking at their website, I discovered that their template is for 10 place cards per sheet, and these sheets only have 4 place cards per sheet.
