Questions & Answers
On the card, the Avery logo is still embossed.
Yes, the pages are perforated for easy separation into two cards (as well as removal of the top and bottom tabs). There is also a crease that allows the cards to be folded in half and displayed as a tent. These are ideal for naming tents at standard meetings (10 - 100 people). (Approximately 30 individuals). On each card, I usually write the name and the title.
I'm not sure if it's "paper" or "card stock," but it's not "paper." Isn't it just 176 g/m on the package?

I tried to use these cards for a meeting, but when I tested the design we came up with for printing, I noticed an embossed bug of the AVERY logo on the card. I was hoping to save money by printing the names at my office, but having name cards with multiple logos looks unprofessional. As a result, I won't be able to use any of the tent cards, and I won't be able to return the package because I test printed it. I re- The logo was not mentioned on the packaging or in the imagery, according to my reading of it. I just spent $18 on a new pair of shoes. I spent 00 on supplies that I will never use. br>br>Take a look at the image below to see if it will bother you.
The Avery 5305 Tent Cards are a dreadful product. The line used to indicate where the cards should be separated is indistinguishable from the embossing lines. Because only one side of the table tent is embossed with a 'frame' to hold the content, the cards are not designed to print both sides of the table tent, resulting in a significant reduction in printing area. br>br>The online template only allows you to design one side of the tent card; if you want to print both sides, you'll need to create your own template and carefully align it to the missing cut lines. Even after all of that, I only managed to rip about 6 sheets before giving up and throwing the entire thing away. br>br>I'm afraid I can't recommend this product.
Table tents don't seem to have much to say about them. Using the Avery template, they were fairly simple to create. The raised border is my biggest gripe because it makes folding them extremely difficult. It's as if the paper prefers to fold along the edge rather than in the middle, as it should. Simple etching along the fold line would greatly improve the usability of these. It would be even better if the template included the raised border's outline so you could incorporate it into your design.
If everything is in order, I give the products a 5-star rating. the number of stars Everything is almost fine with these medium embossed tent cards; I can print them without issue. I can even feed a half-card through the letter tray. br>br>The issue is that the crease for folding the cards is not well impressed on the cards. As a result, you must fold the cards with extreme caution or they will not fold correctly. Furthermore, the cards appear to be designed to be folded in the shape of an upside-down squared-off "U. " " Avery might be able to make this fold more clear and simple. Hopefully, someone at Avery will fix their product so that it receives a 5-star rating. stars.
The use of folds is ineffective. The most serious problem is that neither the "template" in Microsoft Word nor the template downloaded directly from the Avery website print correctly. To be correct after folding the card, it must be "upside down," which means it must be "upside down" before folding. We eventually gave up on putting the name on both sides of the tent after 30 minutes of trying multiple templates. These are fine if you only need a name on one side, and the template is functional. Avery desperately needs a better template system because their website program is so outdated that no one knows how to use it properly.
Folding the "tent" is a difficult task. It's difficult to fold, to put it that way. br>Each tent card has an "Avery" embossed logo on the bottom left corner, which I can't print because my laser printer's card stock setting (recommended) caused the stock to curl.
Laser-cut Avery Printable Tent Cards 100 Cards, Inkjet Printers, 2. 5 x 8. The more advanced actions were not as straight forward; many instruction booklets provide a quick explanation to help you use all of the features available that are provided by the software developer but do not provide directions for people who are using the product for the first time; I was not able to use the advanced capabilities of the Tent Cards software to its fullest abiity.
Excellent craftsmanship. I gave it four stars because the top and bottom edges of the perforated edge must be removed by hand. Setting up name tents for a class of 25 takes a long time, which is a real time-saver. I just wanted to print, fold, and call it a day. If you just leave the edge alone, each card will be lopsided. sided. I'll have to keep an eye out for this feature the next time I make a purchase. I would recommend purchasing, but be aware that this additional step is required.
