This was used as an escort card for a wedding. As far as I could find, there is no Word Mail Merge template, so I made my own in Word that was aligned after several tests and adjustments (see attached image). As long as you folded the edges back and forth a few times, it was easy to separate the cards.
I used these as place cards at my wedding and they were just perfect! The front of the place cards also had the guest's name and the meal choice of the guest. Plain and slightly thinner than you would get from somewhere like Minted or other stationary websites/stores, these cards are perfect for any party. The pictures turned out just fine after dressing them up a little bit for my purposes. Since these cards aren't saved by most people and they are most likely thrown away at the end of the night, I didn't want to spend too much on them. On Etsy, I purchased a calligraphy font for $5, and it worked perfectly in Microsoft Word when I used These cards are so cute and stylish because of the font, and the metallic gold meal sticker adds even more flair. There is one thing you need to remember Make sure you crease all the perforated edges before tearing them apart. Keeping them clean and crisp will keep them looking great. Additionally, I recommend that you use a setting on your printer where the resolution is high There is a slight difference in quality/ink usage compared to the "normal" setting for a more saturated look.
I was inspired to create my own place cards for a baby shower so I bought these. The outcome is quite satisfactory for me. You can upload your Excel guest list and it will make it easy to create a large number of invitations if you use the Avery website. I designed mine on the Avery website using the free template and it was so easy to use. It says one page at a time should be fed to the printer, but I think that is just an oversight on the page. My problem was that I didn't follow the instructions since it made no sense, and it would take up a lot of my time. However, you may want to give it a try. The pages were printed multiple times, so I lost two of them. In that vein, let me say this. . It would definitely be a purchase I would make My favorite part of the paper was the nice texture and ease with which they were easy to break apart after printing.
You can use these as place cards because of their excellent quality. Having used them for a luncheon where there would be an image as well as writing, I found they worked well. Initially I was concerned that the "textured" finish would be inconvenient, but it was not. While the paper has a slight texture, it isn't so fine that it interferes with inkjet Dissolves easily while separated. Don't forget to place them in the paper tray in the correct order, meaning they should be put in the tray in a certain way.
The place cards were perfect to create for my wedding, even though it would be a very simple event (just names, no table numbers or decorations). In addition to the Word template (included in the package), I also ran the demo. I was very pleased. Nevertheless, I want to bring your attention to a few things isn't going to be a simple task if you have a large number of guests. It took me roughly four hours to create the templates, print them, and rip them out even though we only needed 118 place cards. * * 2. It was the most difficult part of the project to determine how to feed the paper into my printer. It might be a good idea to try printing several templates onto regular computer paper first in case you are unsure of how the printer feeds. Ensure that the paper is seated straight in the tray at all times. The printing may even look wonky if you are just a little off.
One of the projects I completed recently was to make table tents and place cards for a banquet of 175 guests. With the Avery website and the place cards, it was simple to make. As a designer, I created a color scheme and design to match the banquet theme and decor, and I cannot claim to be an expert on this subject matter. It is not entirely intuitive to use the Avery site, but customer support was fantastic.
It is not clear which template pages are included in the box. It appears that Avery design templates do not line up properly to print with either the template advertised on the box, or the product inside. Unless otherwise specified by customer support, only official Avery templates should be used. It is impossible to express my disappointment in this.
Following directions, the printer did not fail to print every card correctly, and there were no rips or breaks. Great for special events! We will use again!.
