These served as escort cards for weddings. There was no template for a Word Mail Merge that I could find, so I created my own (see image attached) that was aligned after a few test runs and adjustments. It was simple to separate the cards by folding the edges back and forth several times.
These cards were perfect for my wedding place cards! I had these at each place setting, with a sticker on the front with the guest's name and meal choice. These cards are plain and slightly thinner than those found on Minted or other stationary websites/stores. However, after a little sprucing up, these were perfect for my needs. I didn't want to spend too much because these cards are unlikely to be saved and will most likely be thrown away at the end of the night. I paid $5 on Etsy for a calligraphy font that worked perfectly with the card template in Microsoft Word. On these cards, the font looked great, and the metallic gold meal sticker added a touch of whimsy. One thing to keep in mind is that before tearing the cards out, you must fold all of the perforated edges. It will keep the edges neat and tidy. I'd also set your printer to a high-resolution setting. quality/uses a little more ink than the "normal" setting, giving it a more saturated appearance.
I bought these to make my own baby shower place cards. I'm really happy. I designed them on the Avery website, which was very simple to use and customize; you can also upload your Excel guest list, which makes creating them for a larger number of guests much easier. The only criticism I have is that the page states that you must feed the printer one page at a time. I ignored the instructions because I believed they were illogical and would waste a lot of time. However, it appears that you should do so. Because they were printed multiple times, I lost two pages. As a result, I'd buy from you again in a heartbeat! After printing, they were simple to break apart, and the paper had a nice texture.
These place cards are of excellent quality. I used them for a luncheon where I needed to use an image in addition to writing, and they worked perfectly; I was worried about the texture at first, but that was not an issue. The paper has a fine texture, but not so much that it interferes with Inkjet printing. It's simple to separate them. Just make sure you get the placement correct, which means there is a specific way to put them in the paper tray.
I used these for a dinner and used the whole pack for a 14-person dinner. Because the paper was shifting, the guest names in the printers were crooked, and some ink splattered. I used these in the office and tried them on several different printers, but they all had the same problem. I thought this would be a good last-minute solution for name place cards because my handwriting is terrible. I was extremely disappointed.
These were ideal for making place cards for my wedding, but I was going for a low-key look (no table numbers or decorations). I used the Word template (instructions are included in the package) and it was very useful. But there are a couple of points I'd like to make:
1. If you have a large number of guests, this may not be the easiest thing to do. Even though I only needed 118 place cards, creating the templates, printing them, and ripping them out took several hours.
2. The most challenging aspect was figuring out how to feed paper into my printer - If you're not sure how your printer feeds, I recommend printing a few templates on regular computer paper first. br>3. Ensure that the paper in the tray is straight at all times. It can print wonky even if you're a few degrees off.

For a banquet of 175 people, I was recently tasked with creating table tents and place cards. It was easy to do with the help of the Avery website and these place cards. I created a color scheme and design to complement the banquet's theme and decor, despite the fact that I am not an expert in this field. Although the Avery website is not particularly user-friendly, the customer service was outstanding.
