Questions & Answers

Is it possible for you to print on the inside of the cards as well?

I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. They're scored for folding, but you don't fold them until they're finished printing. There's no reason they can't be turned around.

Rough Around the Edges is a phrase used to describe something that is rough around the edges
3/5

They don't come apart neatly, and the printing quality is poor. br>br>I put these cards through their paces with an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 pigment inkjet photo printer and a Brother HL-L9000 multifunction printer. Avery Design for the L2340DW laser printer (This is a free download). They both went through without a hitch, but the paper produced prints that were less than crisp in both cases. But it's the perforations that are the real issue. br>br> When the micro perfs tear cleanly, they're fine, but this isn't always the case. When you try to bend the perfs in two directions to get a clean separation, a foreshadowing of the problem appears. All it wants to do is fold backwards. The end result can be seen in my photo (NOTE: Because of the content, the printing was purposefully blurred. This is solely for the purpose of demonstrating the edges). br>br>The folding score was also poor, far below what I've come to expect from the note card paper I buy from another vendor. br>br>I should also mention that this isn't bright white paper, though there's no brightness rating on the package, so this is just a guess. It has a weight of 176 grams per square meter, making it a relatively light card stock.

Professionally embossed, simple to print, simple to use, and attractive in appearance
5/5

These are printed on an 8 12 x 11 page for ease of use in laser and inkjet printers. Holding this page landscape, about 12 inch on the top and bottom will snap off (these have been laser perforated and snap off cleanly after you've printed them – and once those edges have been removed, there's no indication that they've been removed, the snap off is very clean). br>br>There's a nice crease/indentation in the middle of the page that indicates where these should be folded after printing. br>br>It doesn't seem to make a difference if you print the front or back of the page first because they are "uncoated. " " The embossing adds a professional touch to these, forming a 3" x 10" box on the top and bottom halves of each page. br>br>Typically, for a name tent, you would print the name on the bottom half inside the boxed area, and then on the top half upside down, so that when folded, it would be a nice name tent, showing the name to those in front of you as well as anyone sitting on the side or in back of you. These can, of course, be used for a variety of other things. I've never needed to print on the back (or what would be the inside of the tent if it were used as a name tent) in my use of these, but other more creative uses might. This is ivory - br>br> ivory that is light in color. These tent cards have a nice heavy card stock weight, but I couldn't find a specification for how heavy they are, so I'm guessing they're around and at least 30-pounds. 36 However, none of my Canon inkjets or HP laserjets seem to have a problem with them (B). Printers that print in black and white or in color).

It's extremely difficult to get a clean pop out of this thing
3/5

I was hoping for the same easy pop out and neat edge as Avery's 8876 ivory business cards, which I had great success with, but this is not the case with these tent cards. Last week, I printed 225 tent cards for a wedding (the first 50 were trial cards), and after numerous fold/pop out attempts, I realized I'd have to cut each card out with an X-acto knife. To make the edges look nice, use an acto knife. The edges, on the other hand, are of varying quality- I spent hours in the car and hotel room cutting out cards with a metal straighttedge, most of which were unacceptably fuzzy once you actually bent back the besides enough times to tear off the card. I had to balance my cutting mat on my knees for the majority of Pennsylvania using an acto knife! You must make these as good as your 8876 business cards, Avery! They do, however, look fantastic when printed!.

When combined with a non-electronic device, the result is a This is an Avery template
4/5

It's a good product, but I used it with something that wasn't meant to be used with it. Because I used an Avery template, the perforation dots on the template could be seen when I printed the place cards. Because it was a template, I didn't know how to get rid of them. Although not bad, I would prefer not to see the dots at the bottom of the folded place card; in retrospect, I should have used an Avery template when using the Avery place cards. If my memory serves me correctly, the Avery cards were provided as an example of the type of paper I could use in the template.

It's ideal for wedding name cards
5/5

Are you planning a wedding and need to create table card placers? Do you consider yourself to be a DIY whiz? er, and don't want to pay exorbitant prices for something that will be thrown away? This is your product, and I had to re-create it. It took some time to figure out how to do a mail merge in Microsoft Word, but it was well worth the effort. Individual names, table numbers, and a cute logo were printed on a tag I made. I could have used the avery site, but I was set on re-writing my paper. Find out how to merge emails. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat to label a candy bar or a display. Cutting and laying them out, however, takes time. Don't expect to lay them out and have them ready in a matter of minutes. It is, however, well worth the effort.

Avery- Tent cards in ivory
4/5

The ivory tent cards were delivered on time. br>I made use of the - My 50th anniversary table name tent cards were designed using Avery templet. br>The option to print on the card's backside was not well-defined. I started by rotating the printing, and then I printed. Then I discovered that Avery rotates the printing that you see when you design the card automatically. br>It wasn't a big deal; I just rotated the printing back and everything was fine. br>Excellent purchase, and many thanks to Avery for a fantastic product.

For a wedding or an event, these name cards are ideal
5/5

For my wedding, I used them as place cards. They're fantastic and extremely simple to use. When doing an entire pack of cards, the only problem I had was that removing the cards from the page required a lot of folding.

Wedding place cards were a huge hit
5/5

I was apprehensive about making my own wedding place cards, but they were incredibly simple. I found a great template that matched our colors and theme and had no trouble printing them. I had no trouble tearing and folding the perforations because they were good. It took a while to print 130 pages because I fed one page at a time, but it was well worth it.
