Surely, the bags are designed to hold anything up to 110 pounds. A special coating on the inside of the bag prevents it from tearing.
It is not noted on either box or bag how thick they are in mils. Fabricated from a sturdy poly weave, they are sturdy and strong. Despite their toughness, I've used them to hold together broken tiles, broken bricks, broken concrete, pieces of lumber, etc. It has been loaded with more than 100 pounds without a problem. It has only been a negative that the drawstrings are weaker than I would like and several have broken so far. However, these have been excellent value for money and have performed well in general.

I use it for securing debris after demolition. Can be used to hold up to 100 lbs of broken masonry, broken tile, and drywall. This option is great to move demolition debris from one place to another and to keep your activity secret from neighbors or code enforcement.
Tile filled in these bags held up well when filled with tiles, but ensure you have enough room for them to move around while filled. There was no problem in having them picked up on the day my city picked up bulk garbage.
A little drywall work on the ceiling. An old bag is contained in the bag A wooden board and concrete sheets were made of drywall pieces (like concrete sheets). I have not yet noticed any tears or penetrations. Renovation and demolition would be a good use for this property.
The contractor bags sold at big box stores aren't even close to as durable as the bags made by professional contractors. It is possible for something to poke and poke through, but nothing tears. A perfect bag for any demo job.
These were used to clean ceramic tiles. I would buy again, and I would recommend it. I needed them to be exactly what I wanted.
