This is a revision of my previous review. This bag is one of my favorites. After three months of daily zippering and two cross-country trips, I'm pretty sure I overstuffed this big boy. When the seam on the zipper broke during a move across the country, it failed. I completed a review with photos and promptly forgot about it. Because it didn't meet their standards, the company tracked me down on LinkedIn and offered me a free replacement. The business went out of its way to make things right. I put off editing my review until I had a chance to try out the replacement, which is still in excellent condition. I highly recommend this product, which blew me away with its functionality, high visibility, and high quality, as well as the company's exemplary service. Even with a small blow torch, this big boy was able to keep my documents safe. The quality is exceptional for the price.

Lightweight and simple, with plenty of room and excellent visibility. When fire and water resistance is more important than theft security, this large portfolio is ideal. Designed to keep all documents in one location for easy retrieval and evacuation in the event of an emergency. My shipment may have simply missed including the advertised small detachable wallet for documents such as passports that Velcros to the outside because it was not included in the item received. In general, I am pleased with the product. 10Apr2020- Because the original Document Bag I received did not include the detachable wallet, a representative from the company that makes this product took the time to find me on LinkedIn and send me a message indicating that they would like to send me a new Document Bag. Today, I got my new bag, which comes with a wallet. I think it says a lot about how important it is to this company to keep their customers happy that the representative found a way to message me and insisted on sending me a replacement product, so I've given it an extra star in my review. I am completely satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a secure place to store their important documents.

So, first and foremost, let me state that this bag is of excellent quality. It is unquestionably tough. I actually organized all of my important documents, such as those that are one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable, or difficult to replace and that you would not want to lose. Everything from legal documents, birth certificates, pictures, jewelry, money, and so on. I actually prepared a bag for each of my adult children and gave it to them so that they could store their important documents in a bag that they could just grab and go in case of tornado, hurricane, fire, flood, or other disaster. It feels great to be organized and know where everything is instead of having things strewn about the house in various drawers, filing cabinets, and other locations. I'd keep buying to give as gifts, such as housewarming gifts and so on.

  I bought a fireproof document case to keep in our safe. I like the small putter pocket for smaller documents like social security cards, passports, etc. The inner large compartment holds our larger documents and the smaller inner pocket is good for titles and smaller documents. Although I can't test this case by setting it on fire myself, the company does have a video in which they do so. Because the shoulder strap and carrying handle appear to be regular webbing, I doubt they would survive a fire. In any case, who cares about the straps as long as the documents are secure!.

I looked at a lot of similar products on Amazon and elsewhere on the internet, as well as reviews from a lot of different places. I also exchanged emails with a coworker at the company. The founder and a firefighter are inquiring about the resistance's duration, which must be at least 30 minutes. There is a video that shows how the bag was tested, and it was tested by the men who designed it. I have no plans to test the bag, and I hope I never will, but I will feel secure knowing that important documents will be protected in the event of an emergency.

For a variety of reasons, I chose the Alorva bag over other fireproof document bags. 1. br>br> It was created by firefighters. This means a lot to me. The founders actually test the bag in a house fire drill, as shown in the video on the page. This instilled in me a strong sense of security about the safety of my documents.
2. If we needed to leave quickly at night, the bag has reflective tape on it to aid visibility.
3. It's big enough to keep all of my important documents and valuables safe. br>br>I am very pleased with the quality of this bag, which also includes instructions on how to store it in your home for maximum protection. br>br>Firefighters have a lot of experience with fires and emergencies, so I couldn't pass up this bag when it came to protecting my documents and belongings.

I spent a lot of time looking for the best bag. This is exactly what I needed - thank you! In both the bag and the shoulder strap, quality construction, good zippers, and rugged materials with sturdy stitching are included. For maximum protection, the inner zip pocket should be large enough to fit documents. It's quite large, but it folds down to fit your belongings, so it's not too bulky. The fact that it was created by firefighters is particularly appealing to me. This is an excellent item.

The material is similar to that of a firefighter's jacket. The bag is sturdy and well-made, and it holds all of our important documents as well as a large book.
