The contents of this website have been destroyed. In a nutshell The seams melted and burned after 2 minutes in a campfire. A product has been damaged by heat that has transferred through it. Laying flat or not being in direct fire may have given it a fighting chance. What does it look like right now? Not at all. I am giving this product 2 stars based on its.
When we received the pouch, one side of it was discolored, which did not bother us. Our documents were in there, but when we opened it, we found stains on the inside (that matched the discolorations on the outside) as well as a moldy smell. A powerful odor filled the room. After I received it, I promptly returned it.
There are no fire-proof materials in them. Having burned them and it caught on fire, I returned them, and they were kind enough to give my money back.
By looking at the material, I can tell. Because the seal is secured, you don't have to worry about anything falling out. One of the things I dislike about this book is how sticky it is. Small things such as hair strands or dirt should stick to it easily. You use a lint roller to remove lint. It's fine to keep it in a clean spot as long as you keep it clean.
Smells bad!.
The design seems very sturdy, but I cannot speak for the durability or water resistance (or, god forbid, the fire resistence!) yet. My hope is that this won't be tested in the future. It does appear to be durable, nonetheless. Despite its flexibility, it holds its shape so it is easy to manipulate while allowing things to be inserted and removed. It has strong Velcro at the top that I hope will be adequate to hold water (I'm still considering using ziplock baggies in which to store passports, vaccination cards, and whatever is now inside the fireproof document bag for added security). I need to check what happens to these in the event of a fire My documents are too important to have the plastic melted on them! I am pleased with how things have gone so far. After it has been filled, it will go into a secure location, where hopefully no one will ever see it.
A friend of mine recommended that I buy this for my son, who loses the key to security boxes regularly. This product is made of a thick material, so even though I have not tested it in water or fire, I am certain that it will last for some time. The seal is excellent. like the fact that it isn't black all the way through. The neon is not too bright but has just enough zing to make it easily recognizable. Several small items can be stored in it as well as all your important documents. It might be beneficial for me to acquire a second safe for my important papers and make room in my fire safe box. An extra layer of An item like this would be a great idea for a college student who may have to carry a copy of a birth certificate, social security card, or emergency credit card. It keeps papers organized while not taking up much space or drawing an unnecessary amount of attention to itself. This is a great purchase.
I have nothing new The pouch is made of leather. A good job was done on the sewing. There is no problem with the price. I can't tell if it can withstand fire from the description. It does not seem to take fire very well. There are places where it is listed as fireproof, while other places list it as fire A screen-printed label on the pouch indicates that it is fire resistant, and on the packaging it is stated as They are two separate things. It is annoying to have to peel open the 2" wide velcro seal. There is a lot of sticky substance on the outside. Almost every hair, lint, dust, or dirt particle sticks to it, so I'm keeping it in the cellophane it came in. Another one was almost ordered, but I ended up buying another brand In order to be even more protected, I will put this one inside the other. I bought the satchel style to pack a lot of stuff in this one, but you'll find it's easy to fill.
