My initial impression of these was that they wouldn't work, but I was pleasantly surprised by their effectiveness

As an emergency cash backup, I store a decent amount of bills in my safe, but for some reason they get very damp, despite the fact that there is a 450 Gram Silica Gel pack inside. In the summer, anything I open from the safe will be damp, especially since I rarely open the safe for months at a time. Even though I store the cash in a money bag, the cash still gets moist. I found these, so this is what I did. I thought to myself, "I can't fit all of my cash in one of these so I decided to split it between them. " When I saw them in person, I thought, "I'll have to split it between two. ". I was wrong after all. The size 2 is perfect for me. Measure 5 inches - 8 inches I put a 3" stack of bills into one of these bags, zipped it shut, and then covered the top flap with tape. The contents of the box had to be added slowly, but I managed to get everything in. There is a thick, heavy feeling to the bags and they feel as though they are made from high-quality The water-resistant properties have not yet been trialed, but soon we will find out. My silica gel pack was recharged the other day, and I'll check the contents of my safe in another month or two, but I'm unlikely to find anything of note in there. They feel and look high quality, so I'm pretty sure my money will stay dry with these. It would be great if I could get these bags in a larger size now, so that I could keep legal documents such as wills and titles of vehicles and houses.

These are going to melt under a torch

I used a torch to Apart from the trim, the upholstery is fire resistant. I removed the trim and it I can use this product without worrying about what's inside. It's great!.

I just received my fireproof bags, and I am very pleased with them. I thought they would be durable and sturdy, but they turned out to be a lot stronger Then there is the water resistance as well. I highly recommend this purchase!.
