I am going to use them for this A group of us is heading to the island where we think Amelia Earhart died, and I must ensure that any evidence noted is photographed with a scale, so I'm giving everyone one of these nifty things.
Based on a recommendation from a graduate student in anthropology, I purchased 10 cm Crime Scene Photomacrographic Scales. A digital camera can be used to document projectile points and other lithic artifacts using these scales. are ready to use, unlike the sheets of heavy paper scales that archaeologists have long used but that have to be cut out before usage.
The size is 4" long and there is only one scale. Would have preferred if the scale was laminated. There is still room for improvement, but it is.

This is ideal to take pictures of archaeology artifacts or to take photos of our Historical Society museum's.
