It has been years since I last used this product. I've been in grade school since then. The Fountain Pen has been a part of my life since grade school. I am 76 years old. The only thing better than using nibs is using a pen.
When I received a classic reservoir fountain pen from an online shop, I was surprised that it didn't Upon stopping into Staples, I discovered that they only carried Higgins Calligraphy inks. After using the pen the next day, I was dismayed to find that the ink had dried out and it took several minutes for it to begin to flow. In addition, The classic age-old story of Romeo and Juliet inspired me to order this I instantly knew it was a totally different pen, with an old German formula. After a few weeks of storing the pen, it still starts writing on the first stroke even after it has not dried. There is such a beautiful brightness to the blue and it really leaps off The classic bottle is just too far beyond the limits. If you have an expensive pen, don't use cheap ink. Plus, don't feed your pen with the crappy stuff. I love it! Königsblau Tinte is the German translation of royal blue ink.
As the signature color, it has that perfect balance between being a bit of a color (as opposed to black ink) and being a subtle enough color to allow the reader to focus on the written text (as opposed to say a flashy pink or ocean blue). A pen that fits your needs is all you need Whether you are using a fountain pen, or a cartridge I manually refill, it is up to you. In that case, this ink is appropriate. This ink offers a great value per ml for the price. If you intend to do specific work, such as callingigraphy, then you may want to look for professional products designed specifically for that purpose. It is my opinion that this ink makes a wonderful companion if you enjoy writing everyday.
Quite often ink stains and spills are wiped away with a household eraser available online. It is clean. I love how this blue ink has a nice shade of blue to it, easy to read, and since it's a "dry" ink, bleeding is a lot less. This ink produces good results when it comes to writing, drying, and strong bleed resistance. As an ink, it is not waterproof and it definitely cannot be considered permanent (don't write out checks with it). The first ink I got from this company made me think I had destroyed a shirt when a badly-capped pen stained my shirt blue within two weeks of receiving it. Upon first removing the garment from the washer, the blue was almost completely Add some Oxy-Clean to it and toss it back in It is clean. Upon removing the garment from the wash a second time, it had completely lost its blue color. It was nearly impossible to see any blue ink through the seams. There is no problem with washing this ink. Ink created by Pirat can be "erased" from paper by the Super Pirat Ink Eradicator sold by Pelikan. On the face of it, most blue inks are designed to be washable, so they are erasable as well. Among the most popular colors of ink for fountain pens, specifically Royal Blue ink from Pelikan, was used in schools to teach children how to use them. You certainly don't want your children to get permanent ink on their clothes, rugs, desks, etc, which is why washable ink, like blue fountain pen inks, has been around for around Ink cartridges for blue ink are also erasable, as well as inks for blue from other companies. Various shades of blue, such as blue-violet or blue-violet If you want black or dark blue, you don't need to wash it. In contrast, if the ink is described as "royal blue" or "blue," it is likely washable or erasable. This is the first time I've heard of this, as I've been collecting FPs for about a year. You may use any other color of the 4001 ink line if you do not need the washability, but you will get the same performance.
I like the color of the bottle, and the shape is There does appear to be only a thin film of dry ink, however. Wet fountain pens will be dried up rapidly by this ink. Due to the fact that it's a drier ink, it dries extremely fast. If you are a lefty, your hand will come in contact with it before it dries. I think it's an acceptable ink, all in all. How many more would I buy? I doubt it. After I've gone through the Edelstein inks, I might try the XL inks.
Using the Pelikan 4001 Historical Bottled Ink, you will get the best value on this large bottle of fountain pen ink in Pelikan's classic packaging. Ink supplied by Pelikan is always of high quality, so your fountain pen ink will always look great.
I love it! Ink from Pelikan is everything I expected it to The ink I use in my fountain pens is of the highest quality. With Pelikan ink, I can rely on it to pass my smudge test, dry or wet. I have a variety of inks from inexpensive to pricey. The product dries very quickly. If I try to smear it within three seconds of laying the ink down on paper, it is hard to smear! Additionally, I tested it to see if it was water repellent. During the brief time after I applied the ink to the paper, I used water and tried to smear it and it barely smeared! There was no sign that it had been submerged in water, and you couldn't even tell. This ink is one of the best you can buy. passed the "LilyMar" test with a perfect score. It was a pleasure to write this, I hope it helps someone.
For best results, use this ink with a Spencerian steel nib. My experience says they are better than those of Schaefer, Parker, Iroshizuku, or Diplomat. While I found the above inks to be a great fit for fountain pens, they did not seem to work It has a beautiful blue color to it. Hopefully I will be able to use it in one of my fountain pens soon.
