Over the last few decades, I've been using two Montlbanc 146 fountain pens. The two leakers were both in the 80s and 90s. The leaks would be repaired, then be fine for a few years before they recurred once Waterman and Diamine ink are the most commonly used inks for me. I switched to Herbin Bleu Des Profondeurs and haven't had a leak since! Despite the ink's watery texture, it's surprising how pigmented it is. Watery ink makes it less likely to leak from my Montblancs because it is less likely to clump. A reddish sheen appears on Tomoe River paper, but there is no shading to it. There is such a deep blue that it is The ink that comes in my Sailor pen leaks a bit with Diamine ink, but not with Herbin ink.
It’s a pelikan m805 stresemann pen (finer nib) with dark blue ink that I use for my favorite dark blue ink. There is a lot of blue in the picture, but it still looks blue despite its darkness.
