I think it depends on the paper and Inks I have used usually dry in a few seconds, but this ink takes only about the same amount of time to dry. The ink is not exceptionally slow drying, but it is also not as fast as ballpoint ink.
If you'd like to use it as a dip pen ink, you can. The ink is my favorite and, although I do not use a dip pen with it, there is no reason why it wouldn't work as a dip pen ink as well. As long as your flow is adjusted properly, this ink should dry in two seconds at the least. No matter what quality of paper you use, this ink does not smear or bleed You can set it either high or low. Ink of this type is my favorite.
Apparently, this ink is not permanent it is so water soluble that it can be easily wiped clean
As far as I'm aware, all Diamine ink is manufactured in Liverpool, England. Am I certain of this? I don't know. Then I would have to agree with what I

BLOOD OF OX The ink from Diamine is such a great brand and this particular color is one of my favorites, but it tends to dry out after just a few hours in some cases, even after being not used for several days. There is a very dry start to the pen that requires coaxing to get it to flow again, while in the worst case it is totally bone dry with cakes of red residue on While some pens did better than others, others did not. In spite of the sleep deprivation, the Parker Sonnet kept writing after over night and did not begin to dry until two days after One of the worst was Jinhao 500, which was totally wiped out over night. The ink color is great, so it gets a 3 out of 5. Quite thick, rich, and reddish-purple in color A brownish color similar to dried blood (black undertones), with little shading unless you look very closely.
My order came from the UK to me in the US, and the shipping was much faster than I had expected. The scholarship came two weeks earlier than I was anticipating, so I was very thankful for this. I only think the bottle should have been put in a larger box with paper around it to minimize movement, but knowing this would be shipped across the Atlantic and probably handled and bumped around over the years, more care should have been taken to ensure its safety. There is a small crack in the side of the cap of the bottle, so there is ink at the top of the bottle. The bottle itself is glass, but the cap is plastic. A total of 80 ml of ink have been lost, and I'd say that 5 ml have been lost. The shipping had nothing to do with the quality of the Diamine ink, which is a high quality. I am still giving five stars for this reason.
Blood red is in fact the color of the ink in this picture. I personally don't find this color to be quite as satisfying as for example, noodler's rattler red, but it's certainly A fair price can be found here. When writing with a fountain pen, the flow can be touchy. When left unused for more than a day, it requires a bit of encouragement to start flowing. Leaving this ink in an unused pen for an extended period of time is not a good idea. With this ink you can use glass pens and dip pens well, and it makes a bold statement that works well with Sheaffer calligraphy pens.
It has been a month since I received Diamine Oxblood, so I figured it would be best if I put this ink through a few pens as a quality check. As it turns out, the ink is superb. A pleasant surprise was when Marketfair Stationery shipped the ink a day earlier, I was very impressed. I'm now going to talk about the actual product. Unique ink is used for the ink. The color I was looking for was not the common red, nor was it burgundy, but a golden brown There is no shortage of red notebooks that would suit just about any situation, whether you are taking notes or writing letters to home (I am a college student at UC Berkeley and keep a family diary). Inks like this do tend to run a little more wet than normal Noodler's ink, requiring a finer nib to write with. When I tested this ink with four different pens (Nemosine, Lami, Noodler's and a Glass Pen [brand unknown]), I found that the Lami Whisper EF and Nemosine F nibs worked best. It is important to note that my handwriting runs on the smaller (microscopic) size.
Most of you are now just curious as to what color this is So here is the short and sweet version. Blood that has been dried. the ink in front of me, I can tell you that it consists of a red that's very deep and sinister and a brown that's very burnt. As the ink is viewed in dark light, it appears more black Although it looks like a deep red in the shade, in the sunlight it appears more like a brown Then look no further if you are looking for a unique ink to fulfill your desires. Every time I pick up this pen, I get a sense of satisfaction from this ink. There is one negative aspect to this ink that I must point out, and that is For an unexperienced fountain pen cleaner, it can take a lot of time and effort to remove this ink This is the owner of the pen. It's more difficult to remove this kind of ink from a pen, especially if you intend to switch to something more light than this one. That being said, any red wine I have ever owned has been tough to keep clean, especially Noodler's Widowmaker and Red Hawk There is no such thing as a bulletproof shirt. When compared with the rest of my collection, this ink was actually pretty easy to clean compared to most "red" inks. Lastly, I hope that you will agree that this pen was worth every penny it cost Is it the color, flow, or what the customer experiences that makes it unique? This is exceptional.
A dark red was exactly what I wanted, and this seemed like the perfect choice. My first reaction to it was to dislike its purplish hue, but I now really like it. This is a very dark ink, so you could use it as you would with Writing letters and keeping journals are two things I do with it. I probably wouldn't recommend it for business related activities, unless you run an occult store or something like that is built to last a long time!
If you're new to fountain pens, the price may seem high to you. You waste money on disposable pens, but think of the money you save by not using them. Spend some cash on a good fountain pen along with some ink colors, and it will last you a lifetime. It makes for a nice alternative to blues and blacks. Do not hesitate to use it.
It has a great depth of tone and a variety of colors. Curiosity got the better of me as soon as I saw this. This was something I had to have. The item has arrived in good condition. There was also a reviewer who said theirs leaked during transit, so that concerned me a little bit. We were lucky not to encounter that problem. I am not sure about the water resistance, but the color is beautiful. There is no red to be found on a graded paper receiving a grade It is appropriate to describe blood as a A broad nib seems to build heavy and thick lines as time passes, while thin lines from a fountain pen are dimmer over time. This is the ink for you if you want a red that tends toward blood. It is no longer common to write red ink on primary school papers.
