In addition to what was said previously, the battery compartment is not sealed. My solution to getting the slider to work was to cut off the notch on the rounded part and wrap a rubber band around it tight. Considering it's a lot of work and it doesn't sharpen very well, I'm not sure if it was worth it. Even if you wanted to return the product, they wouldn't allow Purchase this product at your own risk.
In a nutshell, A sharpener like this was purchased for my daughter. Despite what you see in the video, it does not stop on its own. After I inserted the batteries, it began to work. No matter how hard I tried, I could not stop it. I would have to remove the shield to stop the attack. The trigger seems to be in two places- The first is inside the shield, and the second one is There is some sort of problem with the interior pencil opening, as one of the switches cannot be pressed. The pencils can be sharpened with this tool. The only thing that can stop it is the speed. Due to the fact that it cannot be returned, I got my refund by phone.
A manual sharpener is a hassle for my granddaughter to sharpen her colored pencils, which she likes to draw with. The price is great for this one, and it seems to be sturdy enough (especially considering it is plastic). There are times when the twist/pressure needed to get the point to 'catch' is a bit of a hassle, but it is simple and quick. My granddaughter cut her finger on it when she stuck her finger in it. This is the only reason I took one star off. It would have been nice to have some kind of safety feature or at least a warning on it! We recommend making the warnings bigger if there are any! I was glad to see my granddaughter learn a valuable lesson! I recommend it because it is a good product for a fair price. Make sure you keep an eye on those with small fingers when you are around young children!.
I had to turn on the cover to get it to run, but there doesn't seem to be an option to do that. There is only one way to turn it off pull the My rating would be zero if I could!.
It wasn't possible to sharpen a pencil with this sharpener. There are several different batteries I have tried. No matter which brands were used, which positions were taken, or which combinations were combined, it didn't work. I am only giving it three stars instead of one because I was able to get a refund without needing to worry about returning it.
This was given to me by my daughter as a school gift. I only managed to sharpen 10 pencils before it died. There were no special pencils in the box. There was nothing special about them except that they were standard Ticonderoga Batteries were changed, but there was a smell in the motor that suggested something had died. This is simply not worth the effort.
Xacto immediately sent a replacement. When the new one failed, they sent another the same thing happened again recently, and then I noticed the Xacto buzz is The usual thing I did was to buy For now it is great since I don't use it a lot, but I use a Xacto school pro as an extra, it works great! I have 3 sharpeners so far and so far they do a good job, I recommend this! The xacto products I have tried have been great!.
I wish I had not ordered it. Due to some reason, the item cannot be returned due to a defective battery cover. Initially, the battery cover would not snap closed, so one would have to hold the cover closed with one hand as one held the pencil with It is not ideal for a sharpener I purchased for my 6-year-old An old person.
