While there are probably better sharpeners for more money, I use this one and it does not damage my Prismacolors It is very rare for a little bit of pencil core to get caught, but the button on the back fixes it in a flash. When I first tried this electric sharpener I was very hesitant to use it on my expensive pencils, but I am so glad that I did. This product has been an excellent choice for people that have a problem with their Prismacolors breaking. It appears to sharpen without affecting the core. I've seen people use sharpeners to keep them oiled on YouTube. I'm not quite sure if you need to do this, but occasionally I run some regular graphite pencils through it to keep it oiled. This was the best purchase I could have made! I used to have so much trouble holding my pencil sharpeners by hand that I had little time for art. I now have a great way to sharpen pencils without hurting my wrists!.

Compared to any pencil sharpener I've ever had or used, this is the best. During my 23 years of teaching, I have broken virtually every sharpener I used. Pencils of all types, including colored pencils and new ones, can be handled without any problems. As I don't want to ruin the sharpener by using decorative, plastic wrapped pencils, I haven't tried decorative, plastic wrapped pencils. I have to exert considerable force to move the sharpener from the edge of my desk to the centre of my desk due to the suction cups on its bottom. Any other item I have purchased has never required that of me. Although I wasn't sure if I should buy this because I had never heard of the brand before,.

A different sharpener had been purchased originally, but I was very dissatisfied with it. As a result, I paid the extra cost and ordered this model, which is able to sharpen instantly and without a loss of power. The pencils just seem to get nibbled until the sharpener is barely noticeable. This case fits the large as well as the small pencils. Sharpeners are categorized by many features, but this one sets itself apart for its pencil size adjustment, quick speed, broken lead ejector, sharpness adjustment, suction cup feet, and angle of cut. Durability is a mystery, but it appears to work well so far.
