There's a pair of safety scissors on the table. I can throw them into a bag without having to worry about things, it's inexpensive, and it cuts well. They have been in use for almost three years and still work well. During the Amazon back to school deals, I bought more pairs of scissors to send with the kids to school so they wouldn't lose the ones we have. I sent one to my father, a teacher, so he can use them in his class for quick cutting tasks. believe these, as well as all Westcott children's scissors, are a higher quality than Fiskers scissors. It's been a while since we've had a pair of fisker but these have stood the test of time the handles are incredibly soft, and the blades (which start in a perfect line) stay centered our pair has yet to loosen. There was one thing I did not like, and that was I could not choose the color. Luckily, we received the exact color we requested.
