The Scott product is really amazing, and it can be used for both children and adults projects, and it is also made with a long-lasting blade. I love the craft I cut in these scissors, and I hope I can do more with them since they give a wonderful cut both
They may be small, but they are highly dangerous
These are a bit small for those grade levels, in my opinion. My class size suits me perfectly considering I am a kindergarten teacher.

It doesn't seem to be a problem that they wander away from the place they are in (the kid is old enough to use scissors that cut more than construction paper now), so I left them in random drawers around the house and they haven't caused any harm. In some cases, the plastic electronics packaging was even cut. Whether you're observing them on a counter or across a room, they're easy to spot. You can clean them in the silverware rack of the dishwasher if you use them to open packages of raw fish or hyper-dense foods Our old ricotta cheese tubs have been thrown out. It felt good to get rid of one repetitive source of stress.
It felt good to throw out random old ones in various states of wear and rust.
In addition to my big scissors, I have a few "small scissors" for students with smaller hands. But for 90 percent of my students, these are perfect. Since they have been in my classroom for 5 years and are used nearly every day, a few are getting too dull (probably because students try to cut things like rulers), so I finally got new ones.
Now I use them for small projects around the house and in the garage. Others are fine. They are not particularly sturdy, but they are fine for the most part. As far as I know, they are fine for kids. The tips are not completely blunt if that's an issue.
It is a nice pair of scissors that can be used even by older hands. These are suitable for pencil packs and shoe boxes from OCC. My house has one of these places around the house so that I can quickly grab scissors whenever I need them.
For the price, this is great.
In my classroom full of 9 year olds, these have been great, but they would be too small for older students. There is too little space for the finger holes to comfortably grip the device.
Apparently, if you have a craft room in your home and you want to know where your scissors are, you have to hide them if you want to be sure they are not out in sight. Although she tries to put everything back, I appreciate that even if she misplaces something, I know I've got more to replace it. The fact we won't run out anytime soon gives me some comfort.
It seems like they are sturdy and are very good at cutting. try out, and they are a good quality pair - they give a crisp, clean cut when you use them. Crafting with these is my favorite! I like the small details they cut. The shoeboxes in which I keep my shoes won't be empty for long! I'll definitely purchase more next year!.
