My kid complained that these were too stiff right out of the box. It appears that they are exactly as described. I loosened the fulcrum screw and they are perfect. Kindergarteners will love the size as well as the fact that it's not too pointed. There's no real difference between this shape and the toddler round tip ones we also like. I'm not sure the non-stick coating makes any difference but kids this age are glued all over anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.
