These tend to run on the smaller side, so if an elderly person has hands similar to those of a toddler then yes, these scissors are what you would need.
The scissors are blunt and are not sharp enough. I don't think so, since they are kids scissors.
There is a right-hand and left-hand version of the device.
With this pair of scissors, the grip area is completely covered in antimicrobial handle material.

I'm surprised at all I had to loosen the screws from these Fishers until my young art student, a 4 year old little girl, could handle them. They were too tight to jiggle at first. They once were tight, but now they feel like they're going to fall apart, yet when they're first opened they're still tight. gave these scissors to another student of mine, who is also four, as an experiment to see if it would work You can get them for half the price! A soft plastic handle is also nice for children's hands, as it is easier to work with and much easier to handle. There is only one downside to the Westcotts -- the color cannot be chosen. Fiskars is like a lot of other products, but I thought it would be nice if I could choose the color. My (I wish I went with the Westcott family, but now I wish I had, since I think she would have a better *first* experience with scissors with them.
Their ease of use makes them ideal for him.
I got what the school asked for, so here it is. Her favorite color is pink, so she is happy they are pink!.
Nothing to be concerned about. The scissors are of high quality Fiskars is the kind of company I expect. It is very helpful for us that we can These rounded scissors are useful for teaching scissors safety because they help us demonstrate how to use them. They are used to cut paper, ribbons, and packages, and our 4 year old prefers to use them instead of the tap to cut cardboard. Their strength is not affected by the extra force.
An inexpensive, blunt tip scissor that doesn't offer much. Cutting paper and opening packages are two of its many uses. Since I have large hands, this scissor doesn't feel as if it might squeeze my fingers. I am satisfied with the overall outcome.
There is a problem with the handle being set too tight, as others have mentioned. These are better suited to a child's hand, which doesn't have as much finger strength, because they're smaller. Part of the problem has been solved by loosening the screw, but the scissors' blades have a curved shape, causing them to create quite a bit of friction. They are not something I would buy again, so I will be looking for another pair.
This is exactly how it is The system works well. The blunt tips on these knives are still quite sharp, even though they have blunt tips. The scissors were used by my son to cut his hair (he cut big chunks of hair), as well as cut the shirt he was wearing.
This pair of scissors is perfect for a little one.
