Georgia, I'm not sure, but it's fine.

I'm looking for an instruction manual, but I'm not sure where to find one. What are the differences between gt and mu? What are the functions of the upper-left horizontal slide buttons?

A 5/4 cut slider can be found on the upper left. I did receive instructions, but I believe they were in Chinese. There are no instructions, but it functions similarly to any other calculator of its type. There are a lot of videos on YouTube and web pages. Your best pal is Google.

What is the size of the calculator tape that it uses?

It does not employ the use of calculator tape.

Is it possible to run it on solar power without a battery?

Yes, it can be used on solar power, but only Soloar without a battery, and the display will be dim. br>Using AA batteries is recommended.

Selected User Reviews For Comix Desktop Calculator, Large Computer Keys, 12 Digits Display, Champaign Gold Color Panel, C-2735

The calculator itself is excellent, but the instructions are written in Chinese
5/5

There is no English in this country. This calculator is absolutely fantastic! It's a large key that looks a lot like a standard ten key. As an accountant, I appreciate having a ten-key system. like a calculator but without the cord or the cost of a "real" battery-operated ten-key calculator It's not an exact replica of a true ten key, but it's very close. Oh, and there's one more thing I'd like to bring up. THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WORDS ARE ALL IN CHINESE. Don't buy this if you believe you'll need instructions to use it. You'll be fine if you're used to using a calculator.

When my old corded TI calculator decided to start doing operations on its own after several decades, I started looking for a calculator with the old school keyboard layout (because I'm old)
5/5

It has some features that my previous TI calculator lacked. For example, you can choose whether to round up, down, or simply cut off the extra digit(s) using a slider. In addition, there is a mark-up system. Keys to move up and down These and other features are apparently standard on newer calculators, but they were unfamiliar territory for me. For a solar-powered unit, the screen is quite good. Although it would be nice if the angle could be adjusted, the numbers are large enough that the calculator can be placed in such a way that they can be read easily. The fact that the keys have some travel appeals to me the most. It's impossible to tell whether or not you pressed the key. What I don't like about this unit is that it only functions as a calculator, rather than an adding machine with some calculator features. All numbers are entered as positives by default; to enter a negative number, the minus sign must be entered first, followed by the number. If you're only working with equations, that's fantastic. If you're trying to add up a long column of positive and negative numbers, this entry logic is terrible. I'm not sure why a slider switch that allows data entry to use adding machine arithmetic logic can't be included on an otherwise fantastic little machine. How much can a small switch and some extra programming logic add to the cost of a calculator?br>br>While looking for calculators that can be used as adding machines, I discovered that Sharp makes a number of paper tapeless models. The disadvantage is that they are more than twice as expensive. However, if you don't add columns of numbers on a regular basis, you can't go wrong for under $20.

The Best Calculator for the Job - The quality is excellent, and the price is very reasonable
5/5

I'll be purchasing more of these in the future. I really like this calculator and the particular form factor and size of this model, but I was a little hesitant to buy it because almost everything nowadays is made for less than it was 20 years ago. It had been 30 years. This is an excellent purchase, in my opinion. The price is very low, but the quality is excellent. The display, as well as the buttons and keys, are excellent. I like how the display is angled; it's just right. The calculator powered up right away thanks to the solar cell, but it was dim. When I inserted the single AA battery, the image was crystal clear and dark. The automatic shutoff after about 10 minutes is a great feature. The 'MU' button/feature is amazing for calculating the increase and decrease of two values, up or down. The back arrow key can also be used to correct a value mistake. There are also clear instructions on how to use the sliding switches to round up and down and to use digits. It's a fantastic product, and Amazon deserves credit for making it Prime.

The angle of the display is insufficient
3/5

Someone else had already written a review on this subject. For precisely this reason, I had to stop using this calculator - I can't just glance at it and see the number because of the angle it's displayed at. It should be angled in a more user-friendly way. To see the display, I always have to lean in close. Because of this, I switched to a different calculator. Otherwise, I like it, and I especially like the large buttons, but the display could be better.

Numbers that are a little too thin
3/5

This calculator appeals to me because it is portable. Because it was plugged into an outlet, my previous calculator had some limitations. I like that I can put this one on my desk and it will turn off after a period of inactivity. use. The tall, thin numbers shown in the read-out are the biggest flaw for me. out. To ensure that I am reading them correctly, I must carefully examine them. It would be much easier to spot them if they were a little "thicker" and/or spaced wider.

MEH, my high hopes have been dashed
3/5

I had high expectations for the Comix after purchasing and hammering nails into several calculators. It has large keys, a pleasant feel, a large display, 12 digits, and no unnecessary features such as cotangent. Others have voiced their dissatisfaction with the display's lack of tilt. It would be fine if I were 18" taller, but the fact that it must be placed directly under a light source to function is a major drawback. I assumed the battery would make up for the lack of light in a dim workspace, but it didn't. Have you tried using it at night? Go fish.

It appears to be fantastic
5/5

It was purchased for my father, and he enjoys it. The numbers are large, and his big ol' sausage fingers can press the buttons without hitting ones adjacent to the one he wants to press. appears to be excellent.

I can't read Chinese because I'm not fluent in the language
3/5

I like the calculator, but the instructions in Chinese rather than English would make it a better product. I understand that calculators are relatively simple to use, but each one has its own quirks, and this one has a few of them. I'm a senior citizen who is interested in learning more about these nuances. Why don't you give us some English instructions?.
