Questions & Answers

Do you have a warm feeling on your lap from your laptop?

No way, and my laptop is quite powerful and can get quite hot.

Are the bottom bolsters filled with a foam-like material or a bean bag-like material?

The filling is similar to that of a bean bag.

I know the wrist rest is glued-on, but what is the length of it? Has anyone attempted to remove it and glue it back on? on a different mattress, perhaps one made of memory foam?

The wrist rest is foam (not memory), but it is very comfortable, as stated in the Amazon description (surface dimensions).

Is the wrist pad included in the measurements? If my laptop is 9 inches, do you think the 14" is actually 12 inches due to the padding?

The following are the actual surface dimensions, excluding the built-in wrist pad and mouse pad: 15 in. x 11- 1/2 in. My Dell Inspiron 15 laptop, which has a screen size of 15 x 10 inches, fits perfectly.

It's a fantastic lap desk, and it's exactly what I needed
5/5

I do a lot of work on my laptop at home, and instead of sitting at a desk, I like to use it on the couch on occasion. I needed a good lapdesk with a mouse pad and a place to put my phone. I had previously used an older model of this LapGear desk, which had served me well. The only drawback to that lapdesk was the lack of a wrist rest, which meant that after an hour or so of using my laptop while resting it on the lapdesk's edge, my wrists would begin to hurt. br>br>That issue is handled by this lapdesk. I like the "dark carbon" finish, and this one has a nice padded wrist and mousepad rest, so you won't get tired or uncomfortable like you would with a traditional lapdesk. The padded bottom is also very comfortable, and it's exactly what I needed. Above the mousepad, there's a convenient plastic slot for storing your phone, as is the case with many of these lapdesks. Anyone looking for a good portable workspace will be happy with this purchase, in my opinion.

Just take it
5/5

You've found it. This is a fantastic lap desk for your laptop. Whether I'm sitting or moving the lap desk to the table, it's very comfortable, and the wrist rest helps my carpal tunnel and keeps the mouse from sliding off. The bottom micro bead cushion is very comfortable, levels out well, and allows airflow to prevent your lap from becoming too hot, as foam can. I wish the wrist rest was made of microbeads as well, but it is comfortable. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please br>This is a very lightweight lap desk, even more so than another one I tried, but it feels extremely sturdy. It's made of high-quality plastic that doesn't bend when I put my laptop on it or move it with one hand underneath. br>Of the two lap desks I've tried, this is the best. The other had a slide-out mouse tray, but I could tell it was going to hurt my wrist after a few hours, and my toddler kept knocking it back in. When I switched to typing, the mouse would also want to fall off. I do wish the mouse could move an INCH or two wider, but this isn't a deal breaker. br>br>I hope this information is useful to those of you who are looking for a great lap desk.

This is "NOT" going to fit a 17
3/5

Laptop with a screen of 3 inches Hello,br>br>I recently bought and received the following Laptop Desk, which does "not" support a 17. Laptop with a 3" screen. "FITS MOST LAPTOPS UP TO 17. 5", according to your website. 3". br>The laptop desk comes with a tag that reads, "FITS LAPTOPS UP TO 15 IN. " br>br>Item No. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx UPC: 91598br>Item UPC: 91598br>Item UPC: 91598br> 0 52162 91598 2br>br>My laptop is dangling a little too far to the left. br>What are your options for dealing with this problem? br>br>As a side note, my old LapGear Lapdesk works perfectly with my laptop; I only ordered this replacement because the palm-friendly version was no longer available. When using the rest cushion, it is worn, completely flattened, and uncomfortable. br>br>I'm looking forward to hearing back from them.

This is something I employ on a regular basis
4/5

For the past few months, I've been using this on a daily basis. br>br>Advantages - sturdy and long-lasting The wrist rest is one of my favorites. It hasn't compacted for me yet. The top has a few small storage slots that I like. My laptop is comfortable in this bag. It's still as sturdy as the day I bought it, with no rips or tears in the seams. br>br>Cons - If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be. Instead of being shaped firm foam, I wish the bolsters underneath were filled with small foam balls. With the beanbag, adjusting the angle of the lap desk is a lot easier. Filling for a bag. In addition, the fake leather they used on the mousepad area is a disaster. My mouse wouldn't work well on it because the surface isn't smooth enough. I ripped it off and replaced it with a scrap of fabric I had on hand. The fake leather adhesive stuck to the lapdesk was sticky enough to keep the fabric in place well enough for me.

It appeals to me, but I believe it could be more comfortable
3/5

This one appeals to me. I use my desk frequently, but I find the wrist pad to be extremely uncomfortable: It has a thin layer of padding on top of a hard surface. After only 10 minutes of typing and resting my wrist on them, I'm in excruciating pain: Certain sitting angles make it worse, but it's bad from any angle. Aside from that, it's fantastic. It has plenty of room for my 13-inch laptop as well as a mouse if I choose to use one. In addition, I have my phone on one side and a portable speaker on the other.

Is it true that larger sizes are no longer available? My boyfriend was constantly stealing my lapdesk (which I had purchased on sale at a Staples store a few years ago)
4/5

I finally found it on Amazon, and it's exactly what I was looking for. I bought it and didn't realize it was smaller than mine until he opened it on Christmas, which wasn't a big deal because his laptop is larger than mine, so we just swapped lapdesks. I just wish I'd realized it before applying the decal I got for him, lol. It's 22 years since I made my first one. 5 in. wide This one measures 21 inches in length. If you have a 17" laptop, this one will fit if you don't want to use the mousepad. If you do, the extra 5" makes a difference. However, I believe they stopped producing the larger one (which is probably why I bought it on clearance years ago). This, on the other hand, is a fantastic lap desk. It is something that I strongly suggest.

This is of excellent quality for the low price, with excellent construction, a well-designed layout for a right-handed person, and a light weight
5/5

I like that the entire backside isn't covered in padding because it's more stable and practical. Although the cell phone slot could be widened to accommodate Otter Box Defender cases, this isn't enough to detract from the overall rating. It's a nice, comfortable lap desk that works well with my Surface or my 15-inch laptop. 6 laptop. It's wonderful to have so much space for the mouse.

For extended use, this is an excellent lap desk
5/5

For 9 hours a day, I work from home, with a laptop on my laps. After doing some research, I decided to order a few lap desks to replace my old one. It was only delivered today, but after a few hours of use, it appears to be the best one I've tried.
1. Look. Sleek and professional in appearance. Despite the fact that it's all black, the various textures and materials give it a unique appearance.
2. The size is ideal: it's big enough for a mouse but not too big. The bag is light but strong.
3. Ergonomics is a term used to describe the science of making things Both the wrist support and the wrist rests are extremely comfortable. br>To summarize: I can't speak to the durability of the product (yet), but it is otherwise well-made. Five stars are well deserved.
