No, you won't be able to get rid of it. It's a little more than I've had in the past. It's not particularly squishy, but it's also not particularly hard. Other products' wrist guards were said to be very hard and uncomfortable, which I had heard about in negative reviews. This one is most likely in the middle of the pack. Because I had never had one before, I was acutely aware of it for the first few days. However, as time has passed, I have become less aware of it. My wrists appear to be in the same place throughout the tie, so I believe "dips" are setting in. I'm not sure how things will turn out in the long run - Is it a positive or negative experience? However, I notice that my hands/fingers/etc. are much less achy (perhaps not the right word) than when I use my iPad or previously on my laptop without any wrist elevation. So, so far, I think it's good. Overall, I am pleased with the performance of this lap desk. However, I believe that it all comes down to personal preference, and what works for me may not work for someone else.
Should be able to fit an otterbox-equipped phone.
My 15-inch screen fills the space; a 17-inch screen would protrude.
The slot causes my tablet to lean forward and fall into it, rendering the slot ineffective. The desk should be redesigned so that the slot can be angled backwards more. In order to use this desk to view a tablet in its current configuration, you must be seated upright with your feet on the floor. If you sit in a recliner with your feet up, you can type while looking at your tablet, which should be facing the desk and out of sight. In addition, in comparison to the front cushion, the front bottom cushion is almost insignificant. This should have cost $20 with a redesign instead of $60.

made. So, how about we get right to it? I spent a lot of time looking through my options for lap desk mouse pads, which come in a variety of sizes, styles, and prices. I chose this lap desk (in the lighter wood veneer tone) because it's handsomely dapper, actually fits my home decor well (so it won't be embarrassing to leave out when guests arrive), and the lap cushions provided a slight raised angle for better working ergonomics when sitting. The wrist rest is a comfortable upholstery with a sturdy but soft foam core, and it's incredibly light. Memory foam or micro beads aren't the answer. The finish appears to be well done, despite the fact that it was manufactured in China. Simply put, it appears to be extremely elegant. MY CONS ARE: br>br> As you can see, I have a 15" laptop, which extends about one inch beyond the mouse pad. 5"; If I move my laptop all the way to the lefthand edge, I lose a little wrist support, but I still have enough space to code. If you think you'll be able to fit a 17-inch laptop on this lap desk, be prepared to give up almost the entire mouse pad. and possibly the phone jack as well. br>br>The mouse pad's textured leather is attractive, but it creates more friction than I prefer, and the raised plastic edging does little to keep the mouse from sliding off at more extreme angles. I can always cut a cheap, thin plastic table placemat to size and glue it over top if it bothers me enough, but it's not a big deal. br>br>The tablet slot serves no purpose for me other than to secure a pen. Because the phone slot is shallow and not angled, it will lean forward or fall out if you place it at an angle other than directly on your lap in an upright, seated position. This has also been brought up in other reviews. br>br>Because my charging cable runs across the top of the mouse pad section, I'm going to use a cable management clip to keep it up and out of the way. IMPROVEMENTS RECOMMENDED FOR THE MANUFACTURER: Get rid of the mouse pad's raised plastic edging. Rather than dense foam, use a large amount of microbeads. Microbeads provide comfort, a small amount of flexibility when needed, and are more breathable than foam (which traps heat and can compress over time). When using the lap desk while lying down with knees up/bent, make the phone holder deeper and at a greater angle. Overall, I'm happy with this lap desk and would recommend it to anyone who owns a 13", 14", or 15" laptop.
I have a lot of chronic pain, and my recliner allows me to be as comfortable as possible; I used to have a lap desk, but it was too klunky because it had legs. This lap desk appeared to be the best, but I was concerned because there were few reviews. I'm so glad I went for it. This lap desk is extremely comfortable and simple to operate. The wrist cushion and compartments are two of my favorite features. Despite its light weight, it is extremely durable. The grey fabric is both appealing and durable.
This is the lap desk you should get! This is without a doubt the best laptop lap desk I've ever had! The wrist rest is plush, and the back cushions are extremely supportive of my legs. It's sturdy and light, with a slight incline that's ideal. The handle, mouse pad with borders to keep the mouse from falling off, and tablet/phone slots are all great features. I don't usually write reviews, but I was so pleased with this product that I felt compelled to do so. Hopefully, this information will be useful to someone looking for a good lap desk. Anyone would benefit from it.
I'm not sure why this product hasn't gotten more reviews; it's without a doubt one of my best school purchases. So it took me years of relying on a pillow or hoping that the heat from my laptop didn't render me sterile before I finally bought this. But now that I have, I am not dissatisfied. I like how high-quality the product feels, and it's big enough to fit my laptop and phone inside. I like that it can be hung on the wall or tucked under my bed so that it doesn't obstruct my path. This product comes highly recommended from me.
If you're sitting in a chair with arms, it'll be too big to fit on your lap. It also has a lot of depth to it. It was wobbly because I'm 5'3" and it went past my knees. It may fit in your lap if you are very tall. The phone slots are the slots that are supposed to hold the phone. The phone slot isn't wide enough to turn the phone sideways, and the tablet isn't deep enough to hold it upright. It's well-made, but make sure you want something this large before you buy it. Who knew I should have measured my lap and chair first?.
