21 inches between the legs, if you're talking about the distance between the legs. 16 inches, if you're talking about the length of the slider pieces.
I haven't tried tilting it all the way back, but I have tilted it halfway and my phone and laptop haven't fallen off.
I've got around 4 - It didn't collapse even when I put 5 pounds on it. I didn't move it, and I didn't leave the five pounds on it for very long either.
I suppose you could return it, but you'd have to pay for shipping unless the desk was damaged or missing a component.

The faux leather surface is smooth with a little give, making it slip-resistant, great for writing, and pleasant to touch. Most other tables lack height and angle adjustments as well as ergonomic accommodations, and they move and click into place easily, saving time and avoiding frustration. The book rest and edge stopper both fit neatly under the table and in the drawer, respectively, so they're easy to find when you need them and don't take up too much room. The bottoms of the feet are flat and ski-friendly. The table is shaped in a way that allows you to easily slide it toward or away from you while maintaining stability. They can also be folded flat against the table's bottom and stored there. Finally, despite its numerous clever features, this is the lightest laptop table I've ever lifted (and I've lifted a lot!). Although the price appears to be high at first glance, the design and engineering (as well as your back, neck, and wrist health) are well worth the money if you have it!.
To give you a sense of scale, I have a king-size bed and a 7-inch hand. Like a skinny gamer boy, this bad boy surprised me with true size and sturdiness, and he won't let you down. Although it has a plain appearance, it can be used in a variety of positions, including one. The faux leather top feels nice to touch, folds up, and doesn't fall over even if I jump on the bed, making it ideal for SW who needs to prop a camera, laptop, or keyboard. It will also fit a large drawing note book, snacks, and an iPad. Oh? So, what exactly is it? You'll need more room for the dipping sauce, right? Make use of the compartment. For you messy hoes, it's easy to clean, it'll fit your thicc girl thighs, and it's a ten out of ten listener. If it were an Uber driver, I'd give it five stars. Unfortunately, it does not tell my fortune, but it does suggest that instead of using the depression tear holder (which also serves as a handy pen holder), I should return to therapy.
I recently purchased a fantastic 17-inch laptop, but it was uncomfortable and hot on my lap, especially since I was trying to use a mouse on the arm of my chair. br>br>Ordered this lap desk based on good reviews and a good price, and it fit perfectly on the inside of chair arms but outside of my very large thighs, causing no discomfort or pressure. It's very simple to adjust the height, and you can tilt the chair to your liking. There's enough room for a laptop, a mouse, and an iPhone. My older optical mouse didn't work on the leather-like surface, so I ordered a mouse pad. This desk has made me extremely happy. br>br> I was able to get up by simply lifting the side of my chair (after removing my laptop, of course). Under the unit, there is also a book/iPad rack. NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED! Came in a great suitcase-style box with NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED! Everything has a solid, high-quality feel to it. I would strongly suggest it.
THIS TABLE HAS MY HEART ON IT. Each and every penny was well spent. When it came to choosing a desk table, I was extremely picky. I have to sit cross-legged because of my thicc thighs. I am able to sit in any position that I desire and am completely at ease. The tilt feature and the drawer are two of my favorite features. The rounded corner wrist guard is fantastic (it really makes a difference), the "feet" don't get caught on my blankets, it's easy to pick up and carry, and it's very light. The only thing I'd change is to add a pull-out handle, but that's just me going overboard.
This particular desk appeals to me. The simple tilt is a little tricky because the desk tilts quickly as soon as you unlock it by flipping the side tabs. One issue I had was that the buttons that move the desk up and down tended to slide down by themselves when in the down position. Furthermore, the bar that comes with it to prevent movement on the desk's base should be longer. It needs to be the same length as the bottom opening. br>The desk appeals to me. Doing my work in bed is extremely convenient. So that's something I'm very fond of. I also admire its size. It has a lot of strength and durability to it.
If I hadn't already purchased a TV tray, I would have been better off purchasing this. This thing tilts, you lock it, and it pops right back into place. I let the legs out, lock them in place, and either side will drop to a different level while the other side remains up. Covid has forced me to work from home. This seemed like something I'd like to have so that I could work from other parts of my house or outside under my gazebo instead of my home office desk. Wrong! It's just my work laptop and a wireless mouse, but it's like a transformer! I'm disappointed in myself for spending so much money on this; a new TV tray would have been a better and much less expensive option! It's defective, and I'm annoyed with how it turned out and the prospect of having to pack it up and return it. Ugh, who has time for that?.
The only drawback is that if you tilt it downward, it's difficult to keep a cup on the table, but I just put mine in the little drawer and it's fine. (I only titled it down one notch) I like that it goes up and down and tilts, and that the stopper is removable. Seriously, they nailed it on the head with this one. The top in its entirety is fo- It's also made of leather, which makes it less likely for things to slide off. It's a nice addition! It's fantastic!.
At the foot of my bed, I placed two of them together. It's fantastic that the legs can be adjusted independently because I raised the center leg on each one because the bed sagged in the middle. This item, in my opinion, is superior to the other tables available. How to better connect two side by side would be a future upgrade. It's what I've been using for college because Covid- My laptop is in the middle, with two monitors on either side. The best part is that, because it's elevated, I don't have to worry about taking down my complicated setup before going to bed.
