There are no pockets to be found. There's also a slot for a pencil or pen, as well as a phone.
Not that I can tell, but I believe it is primarily due to your laptop.
This is not the case. While I'm sitting on the couch, I either have it on my knees or resting on top of a pillow to raise it. It's made of a grey cotton blend. There aren't any stains.
When you flip it over, there is a rectangular piece in the middle of the cushion that you can pull out and adjust the incline with, and there are two hooks to hook on the buttons on the back of the lap desk to keep it in place. The bottom of this does not detach.

I can't believe it happened, and that whoever designed it didn't see it coming. Because the tray's surface is completely flat, the mouse simply slides down and falls off. It's also not necessary for the tray to be fully incline. Yes, you can use ducktape or something to secure a pencil horizontally as a barrier, but this is a bad solution because the mouse will slide all the way down and fall every time you stop grabbing it because you need both hands to type on the laptop. I'm disappointed because this is supposed to be used with a laptop and a mouse, and it's supposed to be inclined rather than flat, and it's supposed to be used to place plates with food, as some pictures show. I'm curious if the right-hand mouse mats on other models are made of rubber and keep the mouse from sliding around. It would have been a very nice item if it weren't for this "minor" flaw, but because it doesn't hold a mouse, it's practically useless. Also, take note of the only stopping bar; it is far too narrow and positioned far to the right; is this intended for people who are left-handed? Consider what would happen if you positioned a 15-inch laptop far to the right. Because the laptop will only be stopped on its right corner by the bar, it will tilt to the left. I'm genuinely baffled as to who designed this. They could have solved the problem by adding a much wider bar and a surface to keep the mouse from sliding off.
There is no ridge at the bottom of the lap desk to keep a wireless mouse from sliding off if you have even the slightest angle to the lap desk surface.
I am self-employed and work from home. I prefer to work in a more comfortable chair most of the time. I used to keep my laptop in my lap, but after a while, it began to heat up, which was inconvenient. I purchased this desk in the hopes of finding a solution that was both practical and affordable. This desk is the answer to all of your problems! I'm able to rest my 15 comfortably. My phone and a 6-inch laptop are on it. A small groove for storing pens is also included. It's also a breeze to carry. It has the feel of a thicker pillow with a desk surface built on top. Traveling with it would be simple. It looks like the desks used in schools, so it's ideal for teaching your children at home. The fact that you don't have to put anything together is one of my favorite things about it. I despise having to order products in pieces. Things like that frequently go unused or are returned to me. This desk comes fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box. I would strongly advise it, particularly if you have a laptop or phone that gets hot quickly.
I was initially concerned because my iPhone 10x Max has an otter box cover, which I didn't think would fit. I went to their website and found the slot's dimensions, which are. 75 inches in width There was plenty of space, but I wasn't sure if the information was correct. My phone fits perfectly alongside my 17-inch laptop, and there's even room for a small notepad. On my lap, it is extremely comfortable. There's no need to spend more money if you don't have to. This one is ideal and well-crafted.
I've only had it for two days, but it's already far more comfortable and practical than my previous lap desk, which was padded with tiny styrofoam balls. This unit has firm but comfortable padding. I really like the phone or tablet cutout. I can use my 13" laptop and still have enough room in the cutout for my phone to sit sideways, allowing me to watch videos and TV while working on my laptop. Although the material on the top of this desk isn't particularly slick, if I use it at an angle, my laptop will gradually slide down. The small ridge at the bottom is large enough to keep a smaller laptop from sliding off, but I believe a 15" laptop would be too heavy to slide off. As a result, I'd recommend this lap desk for laptops that are 13/14" or smaller.
I was hoping for a lap desk that would provide some ventilation for my laptop without requiring the use of fans. After reading the descriptions, I thought this was the way to go. reviews). It doesn't really work that way; The pad will lift it off my lap a little, but it won't allow air to circulate beneath my computer. br>br>I'm not sure how a 17-inch computer would handle it; When my computer is on it, there isn't much open space. br>br>The most difficult part is that the mouse I use does not track well on it because of the smoothness (and someone did say it is very smooth, so this is on me). If it makes a difference, I'm using an ergonomic, optical mouse. br>br>I'll use this to keep materials beside me while I work, but I'll have to keep looking for a solution.
This is lightweight and compact, and it hasn't overheated my laptop in the short time I've had it. I do, however, have two issues:
1. The lip is very short, and my laptop is aerodynamic (for lack of a better word) and has a slight curve on the bottom side, so it doesn't feel as secure as I'd like (not that it has anywhere else to go except against my lap/stomach, but it is annoying at times).
2. My mouse does not stay on the surface because it is extremely slick - It falls into the chair with ease. I bought a mouse pad, which I will cut and most likely stick to the surface (side note - I'm surprised there aren't more small or portable mouse pads available). br>Overall, a good product; you might want to use a shelf liner or something similar to keep the devices from sliding around too much.
This is an incredible lapdesk. Over the years, I've used a number of different lapdesks, but none have been as spacious or as functional as this one. It's sturdy, and the slot in the back allows you to raise it. br>br>I've seen a lot of reviews where people complain about the mouse slipping off. I'd rather have my lapdesk tilted than worry about my mouse slipping off. BUT; With the help of some silicone strips, I was able to resolve the problem. I used the following product: I'm sure there are other options for attaching to your mousepad or lapdesk that would work just as well. So, there is a simple solution to the mouse sliding problem. br>br>This is a purchase you will not regret. It is a fantastic item.
